- • We arrived in the evening and were too hot all night. The AC is not particularly powerful, and we had a very hot and restless night's sleep. The second night was much better, but they need to cool the rooms slightly before guests arrive. There was also a loud rooftop event both evenings, which was noisy until around midnight.
Nice sized rooms, comfy beds, and the interiors of the hotel are really beautiful! Staff were also helpful and friendly - helping us book the restaurant upstairs and also for late check out. Location was also really great.

- • We had accidentally booked the wrong dates and weren't able to modify them to the right dates. The hotel staff advised us that the best way was to book the correct dates and request to cancel the wrong booking on booking.com. However, despite the hotel canceling the booking on their system, they never accepted the request on booking.com for cancellation. This meant I still had two reservations and paid twice. I tried to resolve this while staying at the hotel and even afterwards. However, the hotel never reached back out to me or booking.com to resolve. We understood the booking conditions, but we would have liked to hear back from the hotel or have received something such as a voucher during our stay, etc. It was a shame as we really enjoyed our stay.
Beautifully Blissful
Else is a boutique hotel located in a repurposed old beautiful building where every detail is top class in terms of decor and amenities! The staff was very nice and attentive and went out of their way to be helpful and obliging even with late checkouts. The food in the restaurant from the A la Carte breakfast menu to lunch and dinner was excellent! They even have a fabulous Mediterranean restaurant near the pool level with excellent food and cocktails. The pool was super inviting, and we used it twice during our short two-night stay! Everything was just beautiful, and we had a fabulous time.

- • Since we were on a girls' trip and sharing a twin room, the semi-transparent glass doors to the bathroom were a bit uncomfortable! If we had been with our partners, it would have been okay. The location is in Chinatown's flower market, a 10-minute drive from Bukit Bintang where all the action is. Grab cabs are easily available; however, it is slightly out of the way. If you're a tourist who loves to explore authentic city localities, this would be ideal - the area has lots of character! We didn't find it inconvenient at all, but some guests could.

It was a lovely place to stay. Right in the middle of Chinatown. The hotel was gorgeous with a lovely room, and the bar area was great. Next time in KL, this is definitely where we would call home.

An amazing stay!
Super hotel with a beautiful Scandinavian design in the middle of Chinatown in KL. The room was lovely. Breakfast at the Raw is super tasty (Acai bowl highly recommended as well as burnt avocado toast). Staff are lovely from the person who opened the door of the hotel, reception, and the restaurant were nice and helpful. The location is lovely and lively. There's a beautiful space - the library - where one could work. There is a floating cocoon which I didn't get to book. I was there for 4 nights for a business trip and enjoyed every moment! Highly recommended!

Our second stay within a month, and this time we had a small room. Equally stylish and well-furnished in terms of design. This room was less noisy. Also top-notch: pool, service, breakfast, cleanliness, bathroom area
