The house of Paul and Fiona is wonderful. A real gem full of attention to detail. Furnished in typical British style that makes you dream. Breakfast is good even though not with a wide choice for those used to eating sweet instead of savory, but for the beauty of the house, it can be overlooked!

Very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Very English atmosphere. A short walk from city walls and York Minster Cathedral. Pretty garden

Very well located about ten minutes from the historic center, Monkbridge House is a guesthouse run by a friendly and involved couple who have tastefully decorated the place in a very British style. The rooms are of good size, well equipped and clean. The hotel has a small garden, a lounge, and a dining room for breakfasts. Breakfasts are prepared by the hosts with good local products and are very generous with options such as bacon, sausage, eggs, black pudding, avocado or herring, cereals, croissants, fruits, yogurts, cooked cheese, etc. On-site parking.
