A very nice hotel at the heart of Cuenca
A very well kept hotel strategically located in Old Town Cuenca. Room was very well furnished and clean. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful

- • 1) There was noise coming from other guests in the middle of the night, the staff should tell them to keep quiet 2) The staff at the restaurant were not as friendly as the staff in the front desk

- • Very disappointing, especially staff. The only nice people were the Zaza rooftop and there was a young bearded gentleman on our last day. Otherwise shockingly bad service especially from the woman with glasses at the front desk. We never received our welcome drinks and saw others get it. Unhelpful, uninterested. Rooms are small, no chairs outside a stool. We paid extra for the view and the window is small. Breakfast staff are also not very nice and breakfast options are limited, order-only, and take a while. I don't understand why breakfast is not on the rooftop restaurant, that would've been so much nicer. Wifi is terrible and basically didn't work in the room. Heating barely works. For the best reviewed hotel we expected a lot more. Overall disappointing.

Comfortable and stylish, but it’s hiding the fact that several rooms have no windows
The hotel is very comfortable and the personnel is helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is generous, tasty and stylish.

- • However, guests should be aware that some of the rooms are interior rooms, they have NO WINDOWS! And this is not at all clearly presented during the booking process, the information is misleading and most of the guests have no idea about the claustrophobic room until they check-in. The hotel is using a double language about the reservations. Our reservation was for a “Deluxe Queen”, while their internal system was showing a “Deluxe Queen, interior, no windows”. And this is deceiving.
