Where do I start?
As a Hyatt Globalist who has stayed at Hyatt properties around the world, I have never experienced a Hyatt with such a consistently low level of service as Hyatt Regency Taghazout. From the front desk to the restaurants, pool staff, and management, there was a striking lack of attentiveness or genuine concern for guests. We were assigned a suite with construction directly above us on a Sunday morning, completely ruining what was supposed to be a relaxing day in our room. When I complained, the response felt more like annoyance at having to deal with the complaint than concern about the guest experience. Management eventually apologized and offered 10,000 World of Hyatt points, which I appreciated, but it does not excuse the lack of advance warning. The food was equally disappointing. The buffets were tired, and the food was bland and uninspired. Even Sud, Km 17, supposedly one of the property’s upscale restaurants, fell far below the standard of an upscale restaurant regarding food and service. The gym was another major letdown: no air conditioning, dirty, and equipped with old, poorly maintained equipment. For a resort of this category, this is simply unacceptable. The property itself has a beautiful location and enormous potential, but the execution falls well short of Hyatt standards. My overall impression is that the hotel is primarily geared toward the domestic family market rather than the expectations of an international Hyatt clientele. Basically they don’t care about the international gists since their main source of income is the Moroccan guests. This is unfortunately one Hyatt I would not return to or recommend to other Globalists.

Good hotel
Very charming hotel, very well maintained and especially very clean. The air conditioning works perfectly, which is particularly appreciated! The staff is really adorable, smiling, available, and attentive, both in the hotel and at the reception. Every time I encountered a small problem or made a request, a solution was quickly found for me, with kindness and professionalism. I also appreciated the practical details, including the iron and ironing board available directly in the suite. The only downside concerns the meals and breakfast. There were a lot of people during our stay and, at times, we had to wait for the buffet to be replenished. Nothing dramatic, but it is a point that could be improved when the hotel is very busy. Overall, a very good experience. I would gladly do it again to get an even more precise idea during a future stay. 😊

A must do again.
Lovely place, super child friendly. They have a dedicated entertainers team that have a great program for daily children activities, led by Eva. Amazing stuff are sukayna, maryam, ayoub.

- • The staff, despite their kindness, do not master the basics of service, there is an apparent communication issue (due to the presence of seasonal workers according to management) but it is not compensated by the mid-management which is not visible on the ground except when you ask. The quality of the food is very ordinary to mediocre, for a hotel by the sea and with one of the most fish-rich waters in the world, one would expect to find a beautiful display of fish and fresh products, but this is not the case. Everything is bland. Upon arrival, we had lunch at the seaside restaurant, the fried fish was inedible. To compensate, in the evening there is a buffet but without soul. The breakfast is rich and varied but lacks taste, it feels like they added all possible options but very few are flavorful (especially the pastries and bread). Be careful with room access, when you ask for a key, it is given to you easily without confirming your identity, it even happened with the night teams who had never seen us before. Cleaning had to be reminded several times to be done, on the 3rd day, it was too much, none of the 2 rooms were cleaned at 7:00 pm, we had to ask for them to finally intervene. The duty manager came to apologize. And the next day, the GM I was supposed to meet never showed up for the 11:00 appointment, I waited half an hour in the lobby, the duty manager came to tell me he was coming but he never showed up. In short, in line with the hotel, good facilities but a lack of leadership. As compensation, they sent us honey and amlou and an upgrade to a suite. Water-polo games in the pool that break the serenity. We tried the adult pool to escape the hustle and bustle but the sofas were moldy.
