Revisiting the city of Bucharest
The hotel is very beautiful, combining the charm of the old with updated comfort. The location is very good for exploring the city. It used to be an old bank, and in the basement, the vault is now a bar, the space is very cool because they have kept the safety deposit boxes on the walls and the armored door (and we liked the cocktails). The staff is very friendly. We needed help arranging a car rental for the last day, and they took care of it for us.

- • Upon entering breakfast, which was not included, they made me sign the payment first of all; I think it would be better if they asked for it upon leaving, it seemed a bit awkward standing there at the door. Also, to order eggs, they told me I had to go where they were being made, although later I saw that other customers were having them ordered by the waiters.

Wonderful 5* hotel with personality and warmth in a perfect, central yet quiet location
Everything was perfect for us from arrival to departure and everything in between - warm welcome, beautiful bar and overall setting humorously and stylishly celebrating the building’s banking heritage. Also, the room service staff who went above and beyond with personality and joy to make this birthday trip very special and help us celebrate. The sauna and steam room are a beautiful respite after a long day walking around the city and the quiet bedrooms are perfect too, yet still central and walkable to all the main sights and lively cafes and restaurants. 10/10
