The whole hotel experience was fantastic. Reception was quick and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was dark and quiet during the night. Air con worked (which is unusual in hotels to be honest). The bar and late night food were great and breakfast was fabulous.

Breakfast not so good, seemed cooked and stored/reheated. Room lovely very clean, a few scuff marks on walls. Restaurant not open- inconvenient I travelled from Cornwall. Overall good

I checked in and realized I was given an uncleaned room. The name on the welcome screen wasn't mine, a half-eaten cake, a half-done bed and dirty towels on the floor. Tried calling reception and no one picked up. This was after I unpacked and noticed. Had to repack and go back to reception to get another room. A quick shrug by the receptionist was the only acknowledgment. Not good!

Underwhelmed with the size and layout of the room with a picturesque view of a brick wall. Pillows uncomfortable and bar prices sky high
