Fab location, amazing staff, great hotel
We had a fabulous time. Big shout out to Zack at Chop for amazing cocktails, chat, and recommendations. Location excellent. Salt and Ash and Highwayman great restaurants. Sad to leave 😢

Very nice hotel in Downtown Halifax
Large room with a view over Halifax. Very good location to explore Downtown and the Waterfront. Everything very clean and the staff very friendly.

Very convenient, extremely comfortable, and wonderful staff
The hotel is relatively new with beautifully appointed rooms. It is conveniently located downtown between the harbor and the historic Citadel fort, surrounded by great restaurants. It is in a very walkable and pedestrian-friendly area. All of the staff I encountered were incredibly service-oriented, friendly, and knowledgeable. The restaurant staff gladly filled my metal water bottle with water and ice when I asked daily (sometimes two or three times a day - I stayed eight nights). Housekeeping was impeccable; I returned to my room each late afternoon to find everything cleaned and refreshed. I had a beautiful view of the citadel from the enormous floor-to-ceiling window in my room (which was easy to cover and black out at night with its specially-designed shade).

- • I cannot think of anything that I didn’t like - well, it was a very unusually warm / hot week when I was there in early August, so it would have been nice to have a lighter bed covering. The comforter was too much (too warm, even with the really good HVAC turned down) and just the sheet was not enough.
