- • The room was noisy! Aircon and fridge in the room were both very noisy and we had to switch them off overnight. Our room was also very near to the railway track and trains went by regularly during the night interrupting our sleep

Nice Lodge with excellent breakfast
The breakfast was excellent and a welcome surprise. Having a laundry so we could do our washing was nice. Free tea/coffee/chocolate chip cookies and apples in the lobby. Good parking.

Great location in Lake Louise village. We had intended to stay at the Fairmont, but by the time we went to book there was no remaining availability. This turned out to be a good thing; the Mountaineer Lodge far exceeded our expectations, in terms of quality of accommodation, and the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
