Out of the 4 lifts, only 2 are working. It takes a very long time for the lift to come down to your level. The facilities are old. The variety of dishes for breakfast is the same daily. Only 1 type of meat. Not palatable.

The room was clean and comfortable; however, the air-conditioning was not very good. It seems to be okay, but then it stops and does not maintain the set temperature.

The room is clean but there is no toilet paper. The windows are not double-glazed, so noise from the road comes in.

This hotel desperately needs an update. The toilet cleanliness is horrible. I booked this hotel because I needed a 3-bedroom suite to fit my family's needs. This hotel used to be good, and I have stayed there every time I am in Batam. However, this time I am quite surprised that the broken (I assumed) tampered glass was removed from the toilet but was never replaced, hence my whole toilet gets really wet after every shower. The tiles were never cleaned, and you can see mold build-up at the seams and between the tiles. Smoking room without any ashtray... why? Oh well, the good thing is there are many other brand new hotels with attached shopping malls, which makes it even more convenient for travelers. I would give this hotel a miss in the future. Never again BCC.

The room is definitely bigger than other hotels. My choice is always BCC.

The location is wise and convenient, walkable to BCS mall, Grand Batam, and A2 food court. However, the 2-bedroom suite was very rundown, and there were constantly appearing cockroaches in the apartment. I have killed countless of them. Bedsheets and pillow covers have yellow stains as well. The sofa was old and sinks. I suggest a real revamp.

Checking in was a bit slow as the front desk had to deal with many guests demanding their rooms, which weren't ready (due to housekeeping issues perhaps?). The same for 3 out of 4 rooms. However, we were pretty chilled since it was supposed to be a holiday, and the front desk staff were under tremendous stress and were already doing their best. Then there were issues with the lifts, so it took forever to either go up or down to/from our rooms on the top floors.

The apartment is older than the hotel room. It would be good if it could be furnished. The towels and linen are yellow. The service and location are good.
