Dim Lighting Very few people speak English. I couldn't access the pool due to stairs (very risky and slippery without handles). Breakfast buffet does not match the hotel's name. The room's fridge smells unpleasant.

Stay in style at the Kempinski in Xiamen
The Kempinski is in a great location, close to the metro and many amenities. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Service is impeccable. The rooms are especially comfortable with amazing views of the city. Breakfast was one of the best I have experienced, and the space was extremely elegant. Top-notch!

Overall good, but far from great.
Rooms are spacious, air conditioning was working well. The view from the hotel is amazing, and the location is great. The hotel needs some minor renovations.

- • Breakfast was just OK. Great selection, but the quality of the food was rather disappointing. Focus on fewer, but better quality items. We needed to use a translator for everything. You would expect a hotel of this caliber to have staff speaking English, at least at reception.

Breakfast was so good with many choices! The hotel location is one of the best. I walked around 筼筜湖 & 白鹭州公园 every day during my stay at this hotel. Also very close to the best mall in Xiamen, 万象城. Walking distance to 禾祥西路, with so many good eateries in that area!
