I was in a top floor suite. Very spacious. Decor was tidy but not impressive as I would have liked.

The stay was nice, just let down by the check-in and check-out staff.
Ms. Lily Pan spoke to us about the stay on 20 Mar, which was a big surprise to me. She was helpful and informative too.

- • The front counter check-out staff on 24 Mar at 9:30 am. Not able to handle customers and calls. Need to improve task and customer management. Mr. Winson, on 21 Mar, also took a long time to find my booking reservation.
Comfortable, but needs refurbishment.
This hotel is now tired and has been overtaken by new offerings. A refurbishment of the premises and management will help. The Kempinski brand is one of my favorites, but not the Xiamen offering. Staff do not seem motivated, check-in was a slow experience. The rooms are a good size, clean, and comfortable. Food offerings are good but not memorable.

Kempinski is a great brand, but this property is oh so tired and in need of better management.

- • The front desk upon check-in was very slow and poor service, I waited over 15 minutes to be checked in, not something you want to do after an international flight. The hotel is now getting tired, and I have stayed there before, but not again.
