- • Something is quite wrong about the flushing systems in the toilet. It made odd noise at night and we had to move to another room because our toilet was faulty

Dim Lighting Very few speak English I couldn't access the pool due to stairs (very risky and slippery without even handles) Breakfast buffet is not a match for the hotel name Room's fridge smells..unpleasant

Stay in style at the Kempinski in Xiamen
The Kempinski is in a great location, close to the metro and to many amenities. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Service is impeccable. The rooms are especially comfortable and with amazing views of the city. Breakfast was one of the best I have experienced and the space was extremely elegant. Top notch!

Overall good, but far from great.
Rooms are spacious, aircon was working well. View from the hotel is amazing and the location is great. The hotel needs some little renovation.

- • Breakfast was just OK. Great selection, but the quality of the food was rather disappointing. Focus on less, but better quality items. We needed to use a translator for everything. You would expect a hotel of this caliber to have staff speaking English at least in reception.
