Lovely hotel with excellent service. The bar staff were fantastic. I ordered a cocktail without realising it was tequila-based and, unfortunately, it wasn’t to my liking. Without question or fuss, it was immediately taken away and we weren’t charged for it. That’s service! We also enjoyed the bar snacks and little savoury bites, all served by attentive, obliging and genuinely friendly staff. NOW ONTO MARIO… What a charming man! Mario was in charge of breakfast and clearly runs a very tight — but very happy — ship. The staff were smiling, engaged and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. We watched Mario greet and chat with guests throughout breakfast; he was approachable, very funny, and by the end I wanted to take him home! What really stood out was how passionate the staff at this hotel are about making sure their guests have a wonderful stay. That sort of service and warmth makes all the difference.

When in Rome …buffet at the Hotel de Russie
The location is beyond beautiful but forget for a minute you can’t eat the landscape. Your here for the food the Buffett is outstanding and the service lead by Mario and his team deliver the experience of attentiveness, professionalism and friendliness to a diner. We have come back many times just to experience the ambience and exceptional buffet and service from Mario and his team. We strongly recommend .
