Wonderful Staff at the Front Office

We enjoyed Intercontinental Danang very much. Everything here is very excellent, which extremely satisfied us. We are impressed with the staff in the front office like Chris, Zima, Jacob, Dave, Dora, Ha, Thu, Anh, Mai. They are so friendly and accommodating to support us anytime we need from room services, spa, dining and transportation. They are good example of Vietnamese people’s hospitality. We love them and thanks them for making our trip this time in Da Nang perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel with wonderful staff to everyone to Da Nang

Amazing vacation in Danang

Exceptional Resort Experience – Service, Setting, and Overall Quality Truly Stand Out

We spent eight nights at InterContinental Danang and chose the property very deliberately. To be honest, we were initially a bit skeptical given the overwhelmingly positive five-star reviews. After our stay, we can confidently say: they are absolutely deserved. We booked a Club Suite and were consistently impressed from arrival to departure. The airport pickup was seamless and professional, and that level of execution continued throughout the entire stay. What truly sets this resort apart is the combination of a very high, well-trained service standard with genuine warmth and hospitality. Our suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and perfectly in line with what you would expect at this level. The integration into the natural surroundings is exceptional and creates a unique balance between luxury and tranquility. The Club Lounge is a standout feature. The offering goes well beyond what you typically see, both in quality and variety. A particularly nice touch for us as a family was that our daughter could enjoy a full dinner there in the evenings, which she loved. Overall, the resort is extremely family-friendly without feeling overly focused on families. The Kids Club, activities, dining options, and overall setup are all thoughtfully designed. One small but memorable moment: our daughter noticed a small monkey plush toy with other children and immediately fell in love with it. A quick request, and one was waiting for her in our room shortly after – a simple gesture, but very telling of the service mindset. Dining across the resort was excellent, and the 24/7 WhatsApp service is highly efficient and genuinely useful. The guest mix felt very international and well balanced – families, couples, and solo travelers alike – which contributed to a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. While the resort is not centrally located, this is clearly part of its concept. We went into Da Nang regularly using Grab and actually enjoyed the drives – scenic, easy, and with very manageable traffic. Returning to the calm and privacy of the resort each time was a highlight in itself. In terms of value, we found the pricing to be justified. Room rates are on the higher end compared to nearby resorts, but the positioning is clearly different. Particularly the pricing of food and additional services felt fair. At departure, we also appreciated the opportunity to briefly connect with the Director of Rooms, which reflects a strong level of guest focus and leadership presence. If there is anything to note from a critical perspective, it would be a few smaller points: plastic water bottles feel somewhat outdated, parts of the beach could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly, and there is a noticeable background noise from the building’s ventilation system, even with the AC turned off. While not disruptive to sleep, it slightly detracts from the otherwise very peaceful, nature-driven experience. Overall, this is an exceptional resort that delivers at a very high level across all key dimensions. We will absolutely return.

Intercontinental Da Nang

World class - This is a true 5 star experience. The location, property, food, and every little detail is carefully thought through with the most discerning guest in mind. Simply flawless. The property takes your breath away and it's nestled on Monkey Mountain away from the bustle of the main Da Nang strip. Impossible to replicate this experience outside of this area. Impeccably trained staff that gracefully elevates your stay. The people here are truly amazing, warm and love what they do. Big thank you to Dong (guest activities AM) for being so wonderful. My family and I had an amazing time here and look forward to returning again.

Yes, it really is White Lotus-esque

We stayed here for a week during a cold/wet spell but despite that, it was a magical place to relax and also use as a base to see Danang. The resort is huge and you need time to get from point to point. Your room/suite/villa is so nice that you can hang out there but you really need to get out and about. We took advantage of the yoga studio, the fitness center, the pool, and the beach. You can have a golf cart take you around the resort, but it was actually nice to just walk (get in your steps) and really get familiar with the grounds. The rooms are fantastic - huge, well decorated, fabulous bathrooms and showers facing the outdoors, and balconies that give you crazy views. Beware of the monkeys who will come onto your balcony in search for food - clearly prior guests have fed them and habituated them. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous - a great mix of Western and Asian food, a great coffee station - the French pastries and fresh fruit are not to be missed. The Concierge is helpful and you can text with them from your room. The resort offers a shuttle bus that takes you to Hoi An and back - that was definitely worth the day trip to check out. Taxis and Grabs are easy to take to/from Danang itself and it's also worth checking out the sites in town to mix things up. All in all - if you have a chance to check this part of the world out, definitely do it! Be forewarned though - there are a lot of influencer wannabe guests who are livestreaming or doing photo shoots while there. Don't mind them - if you're in their shot, so be it!

La Maison 1888

Fantastic experience. La Madison 1888's vision was spectacularly executed within the dinner space and the food. The courses were beautifully presented and explained. The wine was paired brilliantly by their friendly and ecstatic sommelier. After our meal, we received a tour of La Maison and listened to the inspiration and story of the restaurant. Truly a restaurant of Michelin quality.

excellent experience, possibly the nicest resort we've ever been to. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a special experience, and the villa was absolutely gorgeous. highly recommend!
