Bellus Rose Pension Hotel

Very quiet neighborhood, very clean, and very kind owner. The owner even provided the transportation to bus station. Highly recommend this place when you visit Gyeongju, South Korea.

I recommend it!

The owner couple was very kind, personally drove us to the bus stop, warmed the room for us upon arrival, and it was very nice! We are a group of 4, but only reserved for 2, so we paid an additional 30,000 won per day for the other 2 people on-site. They provided extra blankets, the accommodation was clean, towels were provided, and we relaxed comfortably watching YouTube! There's a restaurant nearby called Jodol Kalguksu where we waited 50 minutes but the food was so delicious that we wanted more. Those reading this review should definitely try it!

If you care about cleanliness during your stay, this is not the place. There were visible molds in the kitchen and bathrooms. I'm not sure if the bedding is washed between guests. The floor was dirty, and the towels had molds too. If you can overlook that, it's a feasible stay. When we arrived, dirty dishes from the previous guests were still there. Bathroom amenities were missing, but the host helped immediately. The host is kind.

The heating was a bit weak, so it was a bit cold, but other than that, I was satisfied. The host was also kind.

This neat little pension is made excellent by the fantastic Mr. & Mrs. Park, who own it. Their kindness, friendliness, and help were absolutely fabulous and made our stay in Gyeongju perfect.

Fantastic pension

The room and facilities were very nice. The pool was enjoyable. The owners were attentive and personable (they even picked us up from the bus terminal!). The location is surrounded by rice fields and a bit far from attractions, which was what I wanted. So, if you have your own transportation or are looking for a quiet getaway, you will have a great experience.

There is a refreshing smell in the room... There are even cobwebs on the ceiling... It feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel... The dishes look a bit old and not clean, so I bought disposable items from the store... I've traveled a lot, but this was truly the worst accommodation...

Absolutely fantastic service and a lovely stay

Fantastic stay with Mrs. Park. We were 2 adults and 2 children (6,9 years old) who stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Mrs. Park was outstanding. Incredibly sweet and helpful. We were picked up at the bus station when we arrived, and also taken to various attractions in the city. We were also dropped off at the KTX station (train) when our stay was over. We felt so guilty that Mrs. Park didn't want to accept payment for all the services. The hotel is small and cozy, with a pool that the children enjoyed and a small garden. We had 2 rooms for our family. Highly recommended.
