- • Nice location and interior, but the hotel’s service failed completely both during and after our stay. On 9 May 2026 guests were woken by a loud evacuation alarm caused by a system malfunction. Despite the obvious stress and confusion, no staff member informed or reassured guests, we had to search for information ourselves. Afterwards, we contacted the hotel twice, including via Booking.com, and received absolutely no response. This situation showed a serious lack of professionalism, communication and basic guest care. We definitely will not return and cannot recommend this hotel to others.

The location is great, but the value for money is not right.
The location was great, breakfast was okay, which is acceptable when paying almost 30€ for it. For that much money, one expects to get a table faster, as it was difficult for 4 people to get a table at 8:30. The rooms are very well soundproofed.

- • The underground parking was difficult to find: you drive through a kind of pedestrian zone, which gives a strange feeling. Guests could have been sent a clear route description in advance. The 5€ voucher we received because our room didn't need to be cleaned could not be redeemed during Happy Hour: disappointing, not stated on the voucher and felt embarrassing. Our coffee machine didn't work properly, but couldn't be repaired or replaced because it was Sunday. Only if we changed rooms... I also found 60€ parking fees for 2 days very high. There was no table next to our bed, which we found impractical. We searched for a Dutch channel on TV. Unfortunately not found. Luckily there were already 5 Russian, 4 x Al Jazeera and even a channel from Uzbekistan.... :( We were at the Hyperion in Leipzig the day before. When we compare the two, Leipzig wins hands down.
There is no better location and no better breakfast!
