Historic hotel close to Bath Abbey and Jane Austin house
The hotel is in a historical 19th century building, about 10 min walk to Bath Abbey, so the location is great. The hotel is very beautiful and each room has a name which is reflected in wallpapers, ours was tulip. There's even a garden with abbey views, super romantic. For the fans of Jane Austin, her house is about 5 min walk from the hotel. Everything was really great with our stay and we would love to be back.

Amazing, a jewel of a place to stay.
My partner had initially booked alternative accommodation for a 2 night stay in bath, for my birthday, the accommodation booked was awful and we were incredibly lucky when booked this at last minute as once you arrive you honestly can believe how lucky you were to get a vacancy. All we can say is WOW. from calling hotel after booking online at 8am to see if could park before check in at 2pm . They were so accommodating. Have to give Kara a special mention, on arrival my partner explained worst night ever night before and it was my birthday. She was very sympathetc. When went back to check in at 2pm, Was greeted by a cheerful Kara who took us to our room. We had the garden room. She had put happpy birthday balloons on the bed, as well as a birthday card. Tara's loving touch certainly turned the break away into a lovely experience. The room is high class in decor the view of the garden just lovely. Tara and accommodation will be the reason we will definitely return to bath and would only ever book to stay at the Arlington when return. As well as great staff, lovely accommodation, safe car park only a few minutes walk from the town.

Excellent location, a historic mansion with its own garden in a quiet area, and a spacious room.

- • This is not a 5-star hotel. We booked a twin room with two separate beds. At check-in, the receptionist told us that we would have to sleep in one bed because the staff had already gone home and there was no one available to unfold the sofa bed. After a long discussion, she eventually did it herself. There was no air conditioning in the room, which is unacceptable when the temperature is 30°C. The bathrobe in the room was torn, and there were only two towels per person. The hotel states that the rooms are cleaned daily, but our room was not cleaned at all during our stay. On the day of departure, the same receptionist was unable to call us a taxi, saying that "we're not a taxi company." This level of service is simply not what you expect from a 5-star hotel.
