- • I didn't like that the room was not properly clean, when we arrived there was still confetti, rose petals, and some lint left by the people who were in the room before us.
Good hotel, in the center of everything
Super friendly staff. 10/10 for Raul, who served us at breakfast. Super well-located hotel. Close to many points of interest, besides being right in front of the port market. Honorable mention for the shower. Great!

- • I have stayed at this same hotel in 2012 and now in 2026. The lack of renovation and maintenance of the hotel is visible. The price is high compared to other options in Montevideo. The price of breakfast, when paid separately, is high.
Good breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, hot showers, and a convenient location. The friendly staff and excellent housekeeping.
I had an enjoyable stay at Don Boutique Hotel overall. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel is in a good location, making it easy to explore Montevideo. Breakfast was good with a nice selection, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the room had plenty of hot water for showers. Housekeeping did an excellent job, cleaning the room every day and changing the sheets and towels regularly. There were a couple of disappointments, however. I arrived at 12:45 p.m. and, despite asking, I wasn’t allowed to check in until the official 3:00 p.m. check-in time. I had also requested a room with a street view, but instead was given a room facing the window of the neighboring room, which was far less appealing. Despite these issues, the comfortable stay, attentive staff, cleanliness, reliable Wi-Fi, and good breakfast made for a positive experience overall.

- • The property was very dark and dated and does not look like the photos. The location is not a good choice for Montevideo, I would not recommend. Very run down and lots of businesses shut nearby.
