Just right for a short stay
Breakfast was ok, very good location with quick access from the airport. Upon arrival, there was a coupon for a welcome drink and a discount at the hotel bar

- • Noise: poorly insulated ceiling. We could hear a lot of noise from people walking and handling their personal belongings above us. The bathroom sink faucet was difficult to operate. The room was not completely clean upon our arrival. Definitely, the price paid was exorbitant for the quality of room we had.

- • Noisy. Kitsch and outdated decoration. Alternative parking in an unfinished building. They gave us an unnecessary and probably worse 'upgrade'. The room had a strange smell. We had to ask for a change of shower towel because one of them had black stains...

- • We were on the 4th floor in the back, above where the pool exhaust fan is on the lower roof. It was so loud we couldn't get much sleep. We called the front desk and they, in the end, offered us a room on the same floor, but in the front. The desk clerk was very friendly and was prompt on helping us.
Kind, helpful and professional
When we arrived we were very stressed because of a difficult trip but we were so lucky to be greeted by Jess at the front desk. Jess was exceptionally helpful and kind, guiding us through any questions we had. She is a marvellous person and professional. We want to thank Jess and Mary Jane for their kindness and generosity of spirit. They solved our problems and brought our difficult day to a restful end.

Perfect Place to Stay
The hotel offered everything we needed for our 3 days in Halifax. Perfectly placed to explore the town and the surrounding area, immaculately clean, and great staff. Would highly recommend the Comfort Hotel.

Excellent hotel staff especially Charmaine from the breakfast/kitchen area. Very personable - love the smile and great hospitality and attitude. Very very good food, better than most we’ve experienced. Thank you thank you! You have a great staff Comfort Inn!

Third time to this place and we love it to the point we don’t even search elsewhere anymore. CONSISTENTLY great service. Place is clean. Breakfast is a highlight. Safe Location, ample parking. The staff makes this place stand out. Everyone from the front desk reception, cleaning personnel to the breakfast staff are a delight to interact with. Shoutout to Charmaine, restaurant manager, what a gem! You can confidently book a stay here without worrying.
