Thoughtful service and a beautiful sense of Hong Kong
We had a wonderful and very memorable stay at Hotel ICON. The service was incredibly thoughtful from the moment we arrived - the team immediately helped us with a taxi payment issue and made us feel completely taken care of. We also really appreciated the attention to detail for our child: the extra bed, children’s slippers, cup and bathrobe were such lovely touches. The hotel has a unique atmosphere, with a beautiful sense of Hong Kong character and charm. It was a very special experience, and we would be happy to stay again.

Neat but somewhat disappointing accommodation experience
The bedding and amenities of the accommodation were good for the price. The advantage is the view of the spacious swimming pool. It was close to the airport bus departure point, so we could sit in front of the 2nd floor and go to the airport. There is a connecting room, although we did not use it. The elevator was quite quiet, which was nice.

- • The staff were polite, but the overall handling was not smooth as there were quite a few young staff members. (It may be because it was a holiday period.) The breakfast was very fresh and clean, but slightly different from expectations. (As it has been a while since I traveled to Hong Kong, the overall breakfast standard may have changed from before. I remember the breakfast at the InterContinental next door about 10 years ago was quite excellent.) The flow in the restaurant was quite inconvenient. Due to the narrow table spacing, guests and staff had to keep bumping into each other. The guards were very friendly compared to the staff. The soundproofing was good, but the bed moved easily and made a loud noise when hitting the wall.
A perfect stay to enjoy
This hotel is truly a 10 out of 10. Facilities, location, friendliness, view - everything perfect and just as you would wish for on vacation. The breakfast buffet was by far the best on our 4-week Asia trip.
