- • Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side during our stay, so we were not really able to enjoy the terrace, pool, and outdoor areas as much as we would have liked.

Absolutely stunning.. breathtaking views probably one of the best locations in Cape Town. Amazing staff and service I would highly recommend

Lovely small hotel with intimacy, homey feeling, luxury vibe with 2 pools and enough staff to make you feel amazing. Large rooms. Perfect cleaning. Perfect pools. Perfect food, including dinner options. Parking provided. Best views in CT, especially sunsets from the pool.

Incredible location, spectacular sunset views. Staff were great. Room was very comfortable. The meal I ordered was great

- • This is a difficult review to write. So much was good, but for a 5-star boutique hotel, there were a couple of small things… I thought a gents shaving kit would be available (had spent a few days traveling, and didn’t have mine with me) My room was virtually on the pool deck, which sounds great, but compromised on privacy. It’s a small boutique hotel, so not many other people about, but a compromise nonetheless. I was given a room upgrade (I appreciated the gesture) but had no reference for what my original room may have offered in this regard. Of my preferred drink, the bar only one option, almost the cheapest available, expected more from a 5-star boutique hotel
Great location but a bit over-stylish
The location is great, the guesthouse villa (we had the 'small room') also well equipped, 2 pools, great view. Very good staff, very good breakfast, although sometimes a bit overly stylishly presented.. there are free white wine and (mostly) canapés in the afternoon.

- • We were in the Winzer and it was quite cold in the bathroom. Allegedly, there is underfloor heating, but despite asking twice, it did not work. Overall a bit over-stylish. The room is not as big as indicated - the outdoor area is probably included in the calculation.
Exceptional location
Exceptional location with a superb view of Table Mountain and Lion's Head as well as the Atlantic Ocean. Great service. Great breakfast.

- • I actually liked everything. It was a bit expensive, even the food at the hotel itself.
