Wonderful weekends in Guangzhou!
Honestly, this hotel was great from start to finish. The location is super convenient – right in Tianhe, connected to Grandview Mall, and the metro is just a quick walk away. Made getting around the city so easy. The room was really nice – spacious, clean, and comfortable. I especially loved the marble bathroom with the deep soaking tub. Perfect way to relax after a long day of walking and exploring. Food was excellent too. Breakfast had so many options, both Western and local, and everything tasted fresh. Dinner was just as good – no disappointments there. And the staff? Really friendly and helpful. Everyone I talked to was professional but also warm, which made the stay feel even better. Wanna say special thanks to Yulia! All in all, I'd absolutely stay here again. If you're looking for a solid luxury hotel in a great spot in Guangzhou, this Sofitel is a fantastic choice. - • I wish there was a kids' playing room as we were staying with the family, and also we wanted to use the swimming pool just to learn that it's mandatory to wear a swim cap- which they were selling at 125 RMB per cap (can buy for 5 RMB at the street market)! So we were only able to use the Jacuzzi as I was not ready to pay this for the whole family. Small things but also something that could easily be improved for guests' comfort and satisfaction

- • The service is the worst in 3 Sofitels that I stayed in China. Service and management are bad. During breakfast time, the staff let everybody go in and walk around to find a table ourselves. Omg. I saw this happen every day. We are like in a canteen waiting for a table and we saw people standing in the breakfast area and eat due to no seat. Not recommended to this hotel. Location is not convenient too. Wherever you go, you have to call Didi or a taxi.
