I stayed at Haka House for five days and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean, comfortable, and offered a great sense of privacy. The shared spaces, especially the kitchen and dining area, were also spacious and well maintained. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful! I would definitely choose Haka House again the next time I visit Queenstown!

I recommend 100% for long or short stays
Excellent location, an incredible view, the kitchen is exceptional, all areas are well heated. The bathrooms are always clean, the shower water is at a very good temperature.

- • In the 8-person dormitories, the space left for luggage is very small and there are many people living there, not just passing through, which makes the room a bit uncomfortable.

- • Room is not cleaned. And you have to pay for parking even if you’re a hotel resident.
Haka House Magic
The staff make the place despite its amazing location. To Ineka, Adam, Russ, Lily and the others (apologies for not having the names on hand) superbly managed and run so smoothly. No easy task with an establishment of this size. Well done Staff!

Good location. There was a shower and a skylight, so it was bright and pleasant.

- • Both the kitchen and the room are generally cold. There is a disparity in the size of the kitchen pots. There are few tea towels and it is unsanitary, but the paper towels are sufficiently replenished, which is good.
