Last minute we ended up at Batavia Boutique Hotel! Despite the very bad weather, we were very satisfied! We were warmly welcomed and served by Potchie (a fantastic guy!!!). Nicely decorated rooms, ideal location to visit Stellenbosch on foot. We got good tips to visit wineries! A must

- • Parking arrangements is a nightmare and room was quite cold as the air-con wasn’t able to warm up the room.
Great location and very convenient. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Had to move rooms because of terrible WiFi reception

- • WiFi reception was very poor - we had to stream a hockey game and needed to move rooms for it. In these times, strong WiFi should be a given

Everything... the welcome even with a late arrival, the lovely vintage and very large room, top bedding, exceptional breakfast. I recommend it to you

Great Location. Not ideal to stay here when it's raining.
Fantastic central location. Giant amazing beds. Breakfast hours very short (should be 30 mins longer). No way of walking to rooms or standing outside your room without getting soaking wet. I suggest a covered walkway to the rooms as it rains a lot in Stellies. Also no room to put my suitcase open. I ended up moving the furniture myself. I found this a disappointing hotel. I won't stay here again.

- • They cannot provide advice on wineries with tastings. Rather modest presence of staff. The room was not cleaned during the stay.
