Highly recommended place to stay in Kyoto
The owner and staff are all so welcoming. They tend to every single detail servicing us. The daily Japanese sweets are my favorite. We enjoyed the hot spring every day. Highly recommend it.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay for us at the traditional Ryokan! The staff and service were amazing; whenever we had an issue they fixed it within minutes. We enjoyed the authentic Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling near Kyoto!

Hotel is phenomenal! Staff go beyond to make sure you are catered to. The hotel is rustic and beautiful, rooms are super nice. The onsen was great! Couldn’t recommend this place more.

We were a family of four and stayed for one night at Seikoro — and everything about our experience, from the warm welcome to the heartfelt farewell, was truly exceptional. We had chosen to include breakfast, and it was absolutely delightful. The in-house public onsen bath added a special touch of relaxation to our stay. It’s an experience we’ll never forget. A heartfelt thank you to the staff who made us feel so welcomed and cared for. We would recommend Seikoro to family and friends visiting Kyoto.

It was a great break from the city hustle and bustle. They were very attentive and detailed. I requested a chocolate cake after dinner for our anniversary and they delivered! We had dinner and breakfast both in authentic Japanese cuisine. Recommend that you use the taxi to get there and visit Senjusendo!
