- • It was a strange journey, I fell for the famous building + hotel name, but in reality, everything is very old and broken. At night, something was splashing in the bathroom. In the evening, someone persistently tried to break into my door and gave me a newspaper in Chinese. The room, although large, is all broken, as if it has never been repaired since the 90s, everything is falling apart.
Outstanding Memorable Stay!!!
We just arrived yesterday at the Intercontinental Hangzhou and right after exiting the subway on line 4, my daughters and I were wowed by the futuristic globe design of this prestigious property (simply looks like something from 2050)!!! Our experiences so far have been nothing less than phenomenal, every staff member is so courteous and helpful in every way. The view from our room is spectacular and the beds are extremely comfortable. The surrounding area is excellent as well, with giant malls and many food options around. One of my favorite things to do is the morning/evening stroll around the lake and just admire the views and breathe in everything the area has to offer!!! We'd like to thank Ms. Robin Han, Tina Tu, and Annie Cao for the courteous pre-arrival emails and the kind check-in staff (maybe Natasha, sorry can't remember the name) for the generous upgrade!!! Overall, we loved the experience, the staff, and I can't recommend the Intercontinental Hangzhou enough for the perfect base!!!
