From the moment we arrived at Last Word Constantia, we knew this was somewhere special. What a wonderful hotel a beautiful property with stunning rooms and truly exceptional service throughout our stay.

Constantia at its finest
Thank you to Vaughn and the exceptional team at The Last Word. This is our second hotel in The Last Word chain that we have stayed in. Again, we had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for exceptional customers service, a relaxing environment and beautifully decorated rooms. There are many extra touches that make this a 5 star experience.

Absolutely recommended!!
We are totally thrilled and would book this accommodation again on our next trip to Cape Town. The service and the staff were excellent, every single employee was worth their weight in gold. Especially Vaughan, who advised us excellently on excursions and put together excellent routes for us. Thank you so much! We were very sad when we had to leave. The breakfast staff were also very warm and made us smile every morning. The garden is very beautiful and quiet and invites you to linger. We drove everywhere easily with the rental car from the accommodation. It is totally safe there and strategically located.

Everything! What a stunning and warm little gem. It literally felt like a taste of home. The staff was welcoming and they are pleasantly generous with the welcome treats, fully stocked and replenished bar as well as the afternoon tea and cake! The breakfast spread was well put together and delish! The rooms are spacious and have a great pathway to the garden.

The staff was welcoming and they are pleasantly generous with the welcome treats, fully stocked and replenished bar as well as the afternoon tea and cake! The breakfast spread was well put together and delish! The rooms are spacious and have a great pathway to the garden.

A hidden gem
Arrived at night driving from the airport and was a bit wary at the unassuming entrance. The suite was very large and comfy, but the magic started in the morning. We woke to the sound of birds, overlooking a beautiful garden and light streaming in. Then a lovely breakfast with a table facing the garden. We had a car and were on a first leg of a golf trip later to Fancourt. Steenberg golf club is nearby and was a lovely day out. Other vineyards and the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden were also close. Loved our 3 night stay which was in the largest suite - which was really very spacious and comfortable. Staff are amazing, and very well stocked drinks bar (honesty system) was a welcome relief after a long day out. This was a wonderful boutique hotel which we will come back to. Highly recommended.
