The way they were so welcoming, treated us so well, e.g., checking up on how the stay and food were. We called for housekeeping once, and they really did a great job, especially neatening up my skincare items.

A perfect location for a short vacation or business trip without the crowds around MBS
Our Bay View room had an awesome view of the Marina Bay Sands and Convention Center, as well as a view of the famous Merlion fountain north of the hotel. The breakfast buffet in La Brasserie was wonderful with so many Asian and western options. Freshly made espresso coffee was very good--order a cappuccino for a nice visual treat.

- • Despite the amazing views and festive vibe from The Lantern bar on the rooftop, I found the quality of cocktails and diversity of wines and beers to be quite lacking. Perhaps there is an issue with offering better options from an outdoor venue like The Lantern, but I suspect it is a management issue. Under proper bar curation, there's no reason that The Lantern couldn't be one of the top bars in all of Asia if not the world. It surely has the location and views to be an incredible 'urban beach' bar.
