- • I have never encountered such a situation before, so minus 5 points. In the hotel, it felt like the occupancy was no more than 30%. However, they refused to check me in at 14:50, citing that the room was not ready, and in the end, only gave me the keys at 15:15. Because of this, my excursion was significantly shortened. A request for an earlier check-in was met with a categorical refusal.

Wonderful place
Everything! Smaller environment and less busy feeling than a lot of Macau hotels with excellent staff all around, especially would like to thank the pool/fitness staff for helping us enjoy everything! This one is a gem and will be returning often.

We had an amazing stay for one night on our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. A special thanks to Aaron and Hallie at the front desk for your exceptionally services. If we are ever in Macau again we will definitely come back to this hotel.

Kindest staff ever
Wonderful, elegant hotel close to everything. No casino here, peace and quiet. We had a spacious, beautiful room with a view of the lake. Breakfast for all possible tastes with gourmet preparations. We loved the Vida Rica bar and their cocktails. But the best part of the hotel was its staff - Melody at reception, Roshan at the pool, Bernadette at Vida Rica and the kind concierge boy and girl whose name I can't remember, all adorable. Mandarin Oriental is lucky to have them.

But the best part of the hotel was its staff - Melody at reception, Roshan at the pool, Bernadette at Vida Rica and the kind concierge boy and girl whose name I can't remember, all adorable. I stayed from Feb 1 to Feb 3, 2026. All the staff at Mandarin Oriental Macau treated us warmly and kindly, and everything was perfect. Not only the front desk and concierge staff, but also the restaurant staff during breakfast buffet took great care of our child and our family. In particular, Melvin from the restaurant welcomed us every morning and looked after us very well, for which we are extremely grateful. It was our first stay at a Mandarin Oriental hotel, but it made us want to visit other Mandarin Oriental properties as well. We highly recommend Mandarin Oriental Macau. We sincerely appreciate the staff’s wonderful service. Thank you so much MO Macau Team ❤️
