Nice hotel with upgraded rooms in the new city center of Rhodes
The hotel is located in the new city and accessible to everything within walking distance and feels in the center of things, the hotel building is old-fashioned and less inviting but the rooms have been renovated and they are really great except for the glass separating the shower from the bed, the air conditioning and minibar worked excellently throughout the stay, the staff was courteous, the pool area was comfortable and the drinks at the bar were good and reasonably priced. Compared to other hotels in the area at a higher price, the value was good.

- • Breakfast was too poor for me and repeated every day, some dishes were not warm and the sugar was felt to be artificial. It's also strange that there is a self-service station for food disposal available to guests. Towels are changed every 3 days, room cleaning and tidying is done every day. The glass separating the shower and toilet from the bedroom, even if frosted, some may feel really uncomfortable being there with family or friends, I was less bothered because I was alone. There is not much of a view, one side faces the hotel's balconies across and the other side faces the street and an uninhabited building. The cost of 2 euros for a small safe in the lobby, as there is no safe in the room. A message sent to the hotel two days before arrival was only answered after I was already at the hotel.

- • The wardrobe, as it is not practical at all: everything is too high. A small step stool is provided to reach the hanger and shelves, but for seniors, it is not ideal. When I booked through Booking, I thought it was a hotel residence with several apartments and a reception in the same building. In fact, it was just an apartment in a building, an apartment that can also be rented through Air b'n'b. This should be clearer when booking. I was disappointed because there was no reception, just a man who came when we arrived and we didn't see him again. We were just supposed to leave the keys in the apartment and close the door when we left.
