- • The room is narrow, broken hairdryer, hardly any space to leave a backpack standing. Also, the male receptionist seems to have assigned the room to my partner and me after asking if we would sleep together (we are two men), who knows if it was intentional. The photos shown by the hotel to my sister, who stayed at the same dates, and me, seem absolutely fake or of much better rooms than the ones provided to us. Not to mention the stairs. A horror movie experience. Even if you usually take the elevator, you have to take care of things a bit, please...
Hotel that lives off the location and nothing else
The location is unbeatable and compensates for many things. It is not excessively expensive for being in Shanghai and this location, although you can understand it later due to the inconveniences

- • Several things. Firstly, the room cleanliness. The bathtub had accumulated residues, it was gray where it should be white, and falling apart. The bath mat, which I tried to pick up to avoid stepping on, had mold. The toilet had feces residues almost throughout the stay. The air conditioning was so loud that we had to use earplugs. There was no one at the reception at night when we went for an emergency. Everything was absolutely old and neglected. I did not expect the newest hotel or the best services, but at least some minimum standards. I was very disappointed. I felt uncomfortable in my room.

- • Because it is an old building, the sound insulation is weak but I couldn't deduct points for that reason
The hotel is unpretentious, without particular services (no restaurant or even a café, only one elevator for almost 10 floors of rooms). The two things I positively evaluate are definitely the location within the Bund and the comfort of the beds. We slept in a twin beds room and they were spacious and comfortable

- • Really small bathroom, decent but not exceptional cleanliness (I found a bunch of hair not mine from under the bed). Noisy and not very refreshing air conditioner. Non-existent services, no restaurant or café or anything else in the hotel. The rate in my opinion very convenient, then it is recognized in the total absence of comfort or services. There is no possibility to have breakfast at the hotel. Very spartan accommodation
