- • Communication could be slightly better, the reception is almost always closed and I had difficulty speaking with the hosts during the stay. The room temperature is not adjustable.
Excellent. Would definitely use again
Great location - walking distance to the old town and a lot of restaurants nearby. Comfortable room and a nice well-equipped kitchen area for guest use as needed. Very quiet.

Too many locked doors. Creepy!
This place is like a jail. Too many locked doors. Owner said he locks up the office area after 7pm. I checked in around 1pm and by 2pm the door was already locked. Then my room was upstairs. And he said he locks the door going upstairs. So the only way out is to go around a tricky passageway and downstairs and out this exit door. The exit door used to be next to the kitchen. It gave me the creeps. Plus the owner has the same rank breath from last summer. He should try a box of mints. The smell is nauseating. I had to stand far away to talk to him. I ended up leaving. I asked him if anyone else was staying there. Place looked empty. He doesn't want to talk to me so he pretends he doesn't understand. Very rude. What's his game? I heard him talking to others in English. Luckily I found a much nicer place at a decent rate.

Perfect small central hotel, with kitchenette
The room was very pretty, everything was freshly renovated, and impeccable. Very comfortable mattress. Central. Convenient $20 parking. Self check-in after check-in. Access to a nice kitchenette, and coffee in the morning. Charming building. The off-season price was very reasonable.

- • You should know that if you have a room facing Rue René-Lévesque, you will hear the traffic noise. However, the hostel is on a human scale and it was quiet inside.
