Avoid: Unhelpful Staff and Rooms in Desperate Need of Renovation
Terrible customer service and outdated facilities. The staff showed zero willingness to help guests. When I asked for directions to Starbucks, a staff member literally replied in English, 'I don't speak English,' and just brushed me off. They didn't even try to point the way or call someone who could speak English to help. Aside from the unacceptable service, the hotel itself is very old and desperately needs renovation. Very disappointing experience.

Incredible
Huge, beautiful, and very comfortable hotel. It has several restaurants and a Starbucks. The rooms are huge and very comfortable, with excellent beds. The location is wonderful near the lake and the main street. Wonderful breakfast.

- • I found the rooms smelling of cigarettes. I changed rooms 3 times because of the cigarette smell and gave up because I realized they are all like that. The Chinese smoke everywhere (despite no smoking signs) and as the hotel has a lot of carpet, I believe it has absorbed, so there was no way. Slow wifi, but that's everywhere in China.
It’s a very old hotel but not clean at all. It needs to be renovated.

Rooms, bathroom, balcony are super large and comfortable, very convenient location, near Wulin Night Market, close to West Lake and Broken Bridge, take bus 7 to Lingyin Temple, highly recommended 😆
