- • I servizi igienici totalmente vecchi e alcuni rotti ( doccino bidet) anche la pulizia poco accurata;strutture dei letti e i vari accessori vecchi; era tutto molto usurato. La porta di ingresso poco sicura, con finestrella di areazione laterale, ( un bambino si affacciava a guardare l’interno della camera)

Mi spiace dare una valutazione negativa, ma un b&b al centro di catania, non può consegnare una camera polverosa, non igienizzata, con la doccia non funzionante e con il doccino con perdite. Oltre ad avere la porta di ingresso non perfettamente funzionante e le prese elettriche non i fili sfoderati. Dopo la nostra lamentela, hanno provveduto alla sostituzione della camera, con una più pulita e con la doccia funzionante. Non abbiamo usufruito di nessun servizio di colazione inclusa, come invece specificato al momento della prenotazione! Le uniche note positive, la centralità della struttura e la gentilezza dello staff!

- • Avevo prenotato una camera del B&B Alba, che si trova ai piani superiori, con ambienti spaziosi e curati come mostrato nelle foto. Al mio arrivo sono stata spostata nell’hotel della stessa proprietà, Sofia Hotel, al piano inferiore, presentato come un “upgrade”, ma la camera non corrispondeva affatto a quella prenotata. Arredi datati, atmosfera poco accogliente, decadente, coperte con macchie visibili e un odore sgradevole proveniente dal bagno, che mostrava anche segni di usura e manutenzione incompleta. Inoltre l’insonorizzazione era scarsa: si sentivano chiaramente le porte delle altre stanze aprirsi e chiudersi, e la nostra porta vibrava a ogni passaggio. Avrei gradito essere avvisata del cambio di struttura e poter scegliere se accettarlo o meno.

- • The staff said that the room was overbooked, and gave us a room in some other hotel, which is in the same building. The room was no match for what we booked. Small, without a balcony, with only a very small window to the wall of the next building, and it needs a good clean. We had a very tight schedule, so we had no time to argue. Very disappointing.
The location of the hotel is excellent, right on Via Etna and close to everything.

- • The room was not very clean — the bathroom was quite dirty, and the toilet flush did not work properly. The windows are poorly insulated, so it was very noisy at night because of the traffic on the main street. Breakfast is provided with a voucher for a nearby café, but it only includes a coffee and one pastry, which was disappointing.

- • Dirty, noise, the windows could't close properly and it was like sleeping in the street, the breakfast was a cofee and a croissant. And you have to ask every day at the reception for a 8 euro vaucher. And the personal from the bar, outside the hotel was very rude. They are doing a favor for giving you that cofee. And they gave me wrong instructions for checing-in, instend of 3rd floor they told me the 2nd floor. And they gave you 4 keys. You need time to unlock and lock doors. I don't recomand this hotel.

- • Purtroppo la mia esperienza non è stata positiva. La struttura è poco curata e avrebbe davvero bisogno di maggiore attenzione alla pulizia e alla manutenzione. Ho trovato polvere sulle trapunte, lenzuola non fresche e perfino formiche in camera. Gli asciugamani vengono cambiati solo nel pomeriggio e non entro la mattina, il che non è molto comodo. Le stanze hanno porte che non si chiudono bene, lasciando intravedere l’interno, e il condominio in cui si trova è piuttosto brutto e rumoroso. In bagno la doccia era rotta e non si chiudeva, con l’acqua che finiva tutta a terra, e non era presente nemmeno il bidet.

- • A parte la posizione in pieno centro , questa struttura andrebbe chiusa per sempre… i livelli di trascuratezza, di poca igiene e di scomodità di letto hanno reso i due giorni di soggiorno per lavoro un vero incubo! lettini uniti (spacciati per letto matrimoniale)con materassi scomodissimi e durissimi con le strutture letto che si muovevano in continuazione ! un divano sfondato tutto macchiato e le sedie a poltroncina imbottite tutte macchiate e sporche , il lumetto sul comodino rotto , assenza di bidet, doccia impraticabile ! Mai più!

- • 1. Their concept of a queen bed was putting two twin beds together, not the best idea. 2. No shelving units in the bathroom for toiletries or in the shower. These are simple to put up and makes a guest's life easier.
Wer ein paar Abstriche macht, kann ihr sehr zentral- günstig übernachten! Empfehlenswert!

- • Eigentlich nicht viel! Trotz Fenster und Holztüren zum Balkon war es sehr hellhörig (Straßenreinigung und laute Leute in der Nacht), aber auf der anderen Seite ist man auch mitten in der Innenstadt! So, what!? Die Einrichtung und Möbelstücke sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und dementsprechend abgenutzt. Da kann man aber bei der Lage und dem Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis drüber hinwegsehen. Ärgerlich war nur, dass wir ein Doppelbett über booking.com bestellt hatten, aber nur zwei Einzelbetten bekamen. Die rutschten immer etwas auseinander. Das war leicht nervig!

Perfektes Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Catania.
Die Lage ist fantastisch, genau gegenüber hält der Alibus vom Flughafen Catania und man ist mitten in der Innenstadt. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den Etna. Das Flair der Zimmer ist extrem schön, Altbau und hohe Decken, die Möbel passen perfekt hinein. Man bekommt an der Rezeption morgens einen Voucher für das Frühstück in einem benachbarten Café, dafür kann man sich eine Süßspeise und ein Heißgetränk aussuchen.

- • Das Badezimmer ist eher schlicht gehalten und hier und da etwas veraltet, aber an sich sauber. Der Föhn ist irgendwann immer wieder ausgefallen, auf Nachfrage habe ich aber sofort einen anderen Föhn zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen.

Sehr gute Lage. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Vom Flughafen einfache Anreise mit dem Bus (ohne Umstieg, 50 Meter vorm B&B).
