Best hotel we stayed at during the trip.
We were impressed from the beginning. The place is beautiful, the staff extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are huge, like apartments. The breakfast is amazing, complete. Not to mention the restaurant inside the hotel: the best meal we had in 15 days in South Africa. And the hotel even includes transportation around the city. It's perfect!

Far beyond expectations!
Everything! Upgraded due to low season and work on the site, it suited us very well to have a suite :-)

- • The restaurant is okay.
A small slice of luxury to have as a base in the Franschhoek area.
Central location for visiting the Franschhoek area especially if you have your own transport (although the hotel provides a complimentary minibus to visit local vineyards and other sites). Room was enormous and very comfortable. The main restaurant was being refurbished but the cellar made an atmospheric substitute with very good food. Staff were very helpful in suggesting places to visit. The grounds are quite small but beautifully laid out with pathways and water features.

Relaxing stay in Franschhoek with some sights.
Double room spacious with very comfortable king-size bed, 2 pools warm and normal, beautiful garden and excellent breakfast.
