- • No amenities in the bathroom. Flooding every time showering as the shower door did not close properly. Lack of toilet paper. Hair in the bathroom. Opening the window allowed mosquitoes to enter. 700 euros for a standard room for 2 nights was more than exaggerated.

- • The breakfast sadly fell short, especially on day two where I was informed they had no potato rosties or similar item. Instead we were provided with peas and potato wedges, which don't really go with breakfast items such as egg and bacon.

Excellent five-star near the Tower
Availability and friendliness of the staff, recent and clean structure, well-organized, spacious areas and excellent rooms. Excellent bed and breakfast, at a five-star level (great to have a chef available to cook extra things), excellent restaurant with original dishes and top service, very close to the Piazza dei Miracoli with the Baptistery and the Leaning Tower.

- • Noisy and perhaps non-adjustable air conditioning (it seems to be but then the temperature always returns to that set by the system), a few too many ants and geckos on the first floor (the other floors were perhaps closed), however, all manageable with a little more attention

Great hotel. Close to Pisa, the hotel is under renovation, but we didn't have any issues with it.
