Struttura molto carina, tipo casa di campagna, camera ampia e confortevole. Spazi comuni utilizzabili (e.g per leggere davanti al camino essendo inverno). La consiglio come zona se si va in inverno, in estate forse starei più verso la zona di sea point / camps bay ma sono gusti. Staff super gentile, colazione alla carta varia, loro sempre pronti a venirti incontro

Best Place in Cape Town!

This is the best place to stay in Cape Town! The room was extremely comfortable with good facilities and very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part was the amazing breakfast, so delicious every morning! The area felt very safe, it’s just around the corner from some nice bars and restaurants. In the evenings, we got Ubers into the V&A Waterfront and other parts of the city which worked very well. Overall, highly recommend this amazing guesthouse!

Parker Cottage

I stayed at Parker Cottage from 12th May to 17th May and again on 23rd May. It is a lovely cozy place with friendly staff (Bernadette and Tomas, specially) and an amazing breakfast menu. Travelling alone, I felt safe here.

Exceptional Stay and Service!

Some places give you a room. Parker Cottage gives you a home. After more than a week here on my second trip to South Africa, I can say neither the big chains nor the other guesthouses come close. The heart of it is the people. Marion, Bernadette, and Madery anticipate what you need before you ask, and they are genuinely curious and concerned about you. When a cancelled flight stranded us, they simply found us another night and kept us comfortable, the way family would. Breakfast alone is worth the trip: a made-to-order spread that changes daily, from a light bowl of yogurt, fruit, and granola to a herbed omelette, with barista coffee, tea and fresh juice. It was a generous enough portion to carry us through to the afternoon. The setting seals it. This beautifully kept historic home sits in quiet Tamboerskloof beneath Table Mountain, where my favorite moments were the simplest: watching the koi fish glide by in the pond or plucking an orange off the tree. Yet it is a short Uber ride from the V&A Waterfront and the Convention Centre, so both a lively night out (drumming and dinner at Gold Restaurant) and a quiet evening by the fire are within reach. You can set each room however you like, with heat, air conditioning, or an open window. Wood-burning fireplaces, an honor bar, laundry, an in-room tablet, and clearly posted safety information round it all out. So whether you travel solo or with someone else, you feel genuinely well taken care of. With only ten rooms, it fills fast. If you are deciding where to stay in Cape Town, stop deciding. You will arrive a visitor and leave already planning your return. And no, they did not pay me to say this.

Best Spot in Cape Town

We arranged to have a car pick us up when arrived after a 15 hour flight. The driver was full of great tips about the area. We were greeted by after hours staff and shown to an amazing room (#6) with a fireplace and very large bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful every morning, the staff are delightful, and the location is sublime. So many places to explore on foot, easy to get around by Uber, and perfect views of Table Mountain on a clear day.
