Charming hotel with everything you need.

As well as its fantastic location and charming features this hotel has everything you need including a pool/gym and plenty of outdoor seating areas. All staff were friendly and helpful. A particular mention to the breakfast staff who kept a great buffet topped up and extremely tidy at all times. A very well run breakfast service. And a little treat was left in our room on our last evening which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location but basic hotel

We stayed here for 4 nights recently. The hotel was very centrally located and clean but looked a little worn out and I wouldn’t say that it was 4 star as advertised. Rooms were basic - no slippers or bathrobes and tea/coffee/water were not replaced daily. Breakfast - basic buffet with limited options. You cannot order omelettes etc. Bar - they call this an honesty bar but basically it’s a non staffed bar with just some wine and beers. Don’t think I would return to hotel should I come back to cordoba.

Charm and location!!

5 connected houses make up the hotel. In the middle is a collection of patios, each with its own personality. There are at least 3 elevators in the different areas.... and there are a few steps to navigate as well. Breakfast is the same every day but it's nice! They have Cava (sparkling wine) to make your own 'mimosa' and you can ask the breakfast ladies for fried eggs. We had a Classic w Jacuzzi room. From the pics I thought it had some kind of weird wallpaper but it actually was 3 kinds of marble on the walls!! The 'honor bar' is set up in the library. You just jot down your room number and square up at check out. We also saw staff taking drink orders at little tables on the patios. We brought in a bottle of wine and used a table on a patio. We also asked for firmer pillows and they were provided in a snap. The staff is very nice and the hotel is clean, calm, and one of a kind!

Excellent location, service, and breakfast --- would gladly stay here again

I spent three nights at this excellent hotel and was very pleased with the location, service, and quality of breakfast. The price was very reasonable for this standard of hotel. The location is great for visiting all the historic sites in the city. The numerous staff are, without exception, extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was clean and quiet. The food at breakfast was abundant and high quality. I would gladly stay here again.

Charming!

This property was so charming. I felt like I went back in time and was staying at a well off friend's home. There were beautiful courtyards with babbling fountains and gardens. Rooms with fancy upholstered headboards and lovey prints of Cordoba long ago. Everything was in pristine condition. Location was perfect. Walking distance to cathedral, Roman bridge, restaurants and plenty of shopping. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for these attributes in a hotel.

Excellent hotel

This four star hotel is nearly a five star hotel (in the European sense). Lots of high quality materials, attention to detail, good service from an invested staff, and a strong sense of place. We are hard pressed to think of anything to complain about. We stayed in a junior suite that we quite enjoyed. The location couldn’t be better for immediate access to the Juderia, mosque, alcazar, bridge, etc. It’s all right there. We came by train so cannot comment on the automobile logistics. We did not dine at the hotel, and the breakfast room is in the cellar and not very appealing, but why not just walk out the door of the hotel and take advantage of all the immediate options in the old town?

Your Historical address in Córdoba

This really is a fabulous, quirky boutique hotel , in the Jewish quarter of Cordoba within a few minutes’ walk of the Mosque , absolutely ideal for exploring the old city on foot. We had a car and panicked a bit when we were driving down very narrow streets that we thought had to be restricted, however on arrival at the door we were warmly welcomed and our car was whisked away for parking by the valet. We had a fabulous room looking out onto the Plaza Campo where the pony and traps wait for their passengers and looking over the roof of the old Moorish baths. The room was beautifully finished, a high ceiling , good bathroom - great shower The Hotel is a series of old Palaces connected by rambling corridors and nooks and crannies, the public areas are fabulous and resemble the internal courtyards you find in the Riads of Morocco. I have seen other reviews complaining about the bed or what ever, ours was super comfy and we slept soundly. However the essence of a stay here is your immersion into a history that goes back to the 14th Century, let that history surround and envelop you, appreciate where you are and the privilege of the experience. In conclusion one might think that the place could be stuffy given its historical past. But no it has that real boutique vibe, staff are warm friendly, knowledgeable on their surroundings and extremely attentive without being overbearing. One night only here but we intend to return as soon as the opportunity presents .

Great Hotel. Great Location

Las Casas de la Juderia Cordoba is an excellent hotel with an unbelievable location. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also large and well appointed. Breakfast was superior. My only issue was with the guided tour we booked through the hotel. It was expensive and not really worth the cost in my opinion. I would suggest booking the Mezquita on your own and using a good guide book like Rick Steves to walk you through the highlights of the area. Use that extra money to have a great meal instead. But the hotel itself is a winner.
