Memorable villa experience with exceptional service
We had a truly fantastic and memorable stay at Kayumanis Ubud Private Villa. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire team. The hospitality was excellent, from the front desk staff to the gardeners and the staff at the dining area, everyone was friendly. A special mention goes to the front desk staff who were exceptionally courteous and patient, always taking the time to answer our questions and ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The villa was very well maintained. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable queen size bed and a single bed. While the ambience was cosy, the lighting in the bedroom was slightly dim. Both the bedroom and the open living room had televisions. Since the villa in the midst of a forest, there are lots of insects, flies especially in the evening. We could also hear the frog croaking at night which was disturbing. The villa has a private pool, which had a depth of 1.4 metres. There was a visible no diving sign placed near the pool for safety. Although we were unsure whether the pool was cleaned daily, it appeared well maintained and clean. Pool towels were provided and replaced daily. The villa also had a cooker hob available. However, we did not find any cooking utensils during our stay. Since we did not plan to cook, we did not check further with the staff, but it may be worth clarifying if cooking is part of your plans. Towels, bottled water, soft drinks and fruit juices were replenished daily. The shower is designed as an open concept, which creates a unique tropical experience, though families travelling with children may find it slightly less private. Amenities such as dental kits, shower caps, toiletries and ear buds were all provided and refilled everyday. Breakfast had a good variety of options, including few choices suitable for vegetarians. The Kayumanis toast is definitely worth trying, especially if you enjoy sweet breakfast options, it was one of the highlights of our mornings.

Ottimo potenziale...ma il tempo si fa sentire e la pulizia e la manutenzione non sono all'altezza.
La posizione nella giungla è fantastica, l'esterno delle ville (giardino, patio e piscina) sono splendidi, servizio molto efficiente, buona ristorazione.

- • Alcune criticità ci impongono di ridurre il voto complessivo: la stanza non era perfettamente pulita, soprattutto il bagno (esterno) era in certi punti sporco (vasca da bagno). La stanza, considerato il livello dell'hotel, merita una ristrutturazione e una migliore manutenzione. Lo scolo della vasca jacuzzi era rotto...e la richiesta di riparazione è caduta nel nulla.
Overall good stay
The quality of food is very good. It is like in the middle of ubud and facilities like money change, Laundary, grocery stores are nearby. The best part is the staff. They are very courteous and always smiling and eager to help.

- • The rooms need serious renovation. The place is not wheelchair accessible
Not for those who fear insects/gecko/animals in their rooms.
The Pool and the Jacuzzi were excellent. The food was good. The service was excellent. The second room offered after the first traumatic night was a good gesture but it should not have come to that.

- • There were pests, insects and wildlife in the room. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets smelled Could not sleep because of the constant insect noise and the fear of being attacked any moment by a gecko/snake (whatever the hell was hissing the entire night) or bit by a bee/mosquito/other form of insect (of which there were many varieties in the room). Worst part was that even though the hotel claims that they offer 24 hours butler service, no one picked up the call from 1 am to 3 am when the noises started coming from the top of my bed making me fear for my life before I had to run out of the room in fear to go to the other room.
