Beware of the location and noise.
It is located one street away from the historic center of Pelourinho. The street where the hotel is located is unsafe to walk because there is a lot of poverty around. The hotel has everything you need within its facilities. The breakfast includes eggs, cheese, sausages, and fresh juices. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean although small. If you happen to be there on a weekend or during carnival season, you won't sleep because you can hear the party and music from the squares of the historic center. The rooms are not soundproofed, and you can hear all the noise from the street and neighbors.

Very helpful staff and good location to see the historical center
This is a very interesting hotel. At one point, it was a hostel but now it is a normal B&B. It has grown organically over time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and all spoke English. It seemed like there were quite a few Europeans there. The breakfast is served outside, which is quite lovely. There are nice views of the historical city center, and the garden is very pleasant. It was surprisingly quiet, given how close it was to the Pelourino. It is very close to the SENAC lunch buffet, the Amado Foundation museum, the Balet Folkloriko, etc. The downside is that you have to go down a pretty steep hill and then up a pretty steep hill to get to those things (a river used to flow between the hills). Our room was billed as a double room, and I was sort of expecting just a full-size bed, but it seemed to be a king, although the flip side of that was that there was very little extra room in our room.

Great stay.
Fantastic stay. Great location, walkable to the center. Lovely pool and friendly staff. Good breakfast too. With a lift, it would have been perfect!

The stay was wonderful, the morning attendants are wonderful, very helpful, give tips about the city, I didn't even need a guide with Gabriel's tips, the only negative point is the night attendant.
