Well located and comfortable
Perfect location. Close to the Paradise Mall and other attractions. Easy to get a taxi if you need to go somewhere. Close to shops to buy food etc. make sure you try their hot chocolate at breakfast time and they can also borrow you an umbrella when needed if it rains and you have to go out. Very nice hotel and people.

Overall review based on my own experience
Three of us were on a business trip were accommodated in what I would call a family room but the third - kind of sofa bed was set up and honestly it was so comfortable. Room was clean and comfortable, if a little warm. Breakfast was plentiful in options and portions available. I was a little disappointed at the bread ( it was pretty hard, ) either due to the type or its staleness and the eggs, beans, mushroom and bacon section despite being in heatable steel containers, was just luke warm. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay. I feel like I have moaned a bit but only about the things that really could be improved with awareness. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and were happy to help wherever possible. Locality was perfect for us. A 2 - to 5 minute walk either way to nice places to eat and to the Paradise center where our convention was held. Local food restaurants were very good ( the one directly behind the hotel was found on our last night 'Morafett' that was lovely and another nearby up the street to the right of the entrance and first right - was a gorgeous little place with excellent service - just a bit too salty on the 2nd visit. Metro and trams were really easy and inexpensive to navigate Had a lovely trip!

This property is old and needs updating badly. The people that work there are wonderful but the accommodations are very minimal. Only one bath towel each day and I only got a full roll of toilet paper on the last day. The bathroom counter was never cleaned even though housekeeping came in each day. It's very low budget needs a full remodel. There are better options in the area I would choose next time.

Great accommodation and location
In theory this is a 3-star hotel, in practice it is at least a 4-star. A small group of us stayed for 7 nights. Bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, but not fluent in English. The breakfast had lots of hot and cold choices with the highlight for me being the fresh honey direct from the honeycomb. The machine-made freshly ground coffee was also excellent, and there was a good choice of teas available. The restaurant was only open for breakfast which probably accounts for the hotel having only 3 stars. There is however a good choice of places to eat in the vicinity. There are some small shops, a chemist, a Lidl, a Balkan bar/restaurant and a cocktail bar which serves great food all within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. There is a large selection of shops and restaurants in and around the large shopping mall 600 meters away, which is also the nearest Metro stop. This was a perfect base for our stay in Sofia.

Great and friendly staff, convenient area to shopping mall, groceries and many more, even a flower shop is right next to the hotel on the same street. Very delicious breakfast and great and clean spacious room.

Comfortable Hotel Outside of Center
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in early September '23, at the beginning of a group tour of the Balkans. It was comfortable and convenient for the tour, but it is a bit far from the historic area if your purpose is to explore the city. The hotel is, however, in a pleasant area of Sofia and right on a tram and bus line that will take you to the center in about 15-20 minutes. Tip: using public transportation in Sofia is simple – just get on and tap a chip-enabled credit card on the fare box. When we were there the cost was about $1 US. There are a number of restaurants nearby, one of which the group opted to return twice because it was so good – Arivera (Italian). The hotel is a modern multi-story building set slightly back from the street. The small lobby adjoins a large and pleasant breakfast room off to one side. For the size of the hotel, it was surprising to find just one small elevator that was overwhelmed at times. Our room (502) was large, with attractive modern decor and a view over the boulevard in front of the hotel. It had twin beds, two nightstands with outlets, a desk and a mini-bar. There was an open closet area with shelves and a safe. The bathroom was large, with a tub/shower combo and plenty of counter space. The breakfast buffet had a pretty good selection – eggs, bacon, yogurt, etc., and a small amount of whole fresh fruit. Good coffee was available in a single-cup machine. All in all, the Legend is a comfortable hotel convenient to the tram and bus lines, but far from the historic center. Before joining the group, we stayed at the Rosslyn Thracia, and it would be a good alternative if you were on your own and wanted to be closer to the center.

Average, bad breakfast
Went here for one night while in Sofia. The receptionists were very confused both in the evening and the next day with poor English but helpful at the end. I got a suite on the top with a very nice view, good bed, clean and spacious. More modern design would be welcome though. They also had a solid garage for the car for 10 €. Breakfast on the other hand was bad, one of the worst I tried in a while, with poor selection, stale old bread and poor service. I do not recommend it. All together, acceptable to sleep a night while in a rush, location is good near the ring but skip the breakfast.

Hotel is good, food not great, very bad experience with service
The hotel is good and clean. Breakfast was not great, some of the food felt stale and old. I have had an issue with construction work ongoing RIGHT NEXT to my room, so for several hours a day I would hear the extremely loud sound of a drill on the walls of my room which made it impossible to relax and work. I reported this issue to the hotel staff who did not do anything about it and responded in an annoyed way. Not only there was construction, but it seems like the people doing the construction were smoking inside the room, which meant that a very bad smell of smoke kept coming out of the vents of my room.
