Crociferi B&B

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B una notte tra il 2 e 3 gennaio. La struttura ci ha calato subito nell'atmosfera del centro catanese. La signora Teresa ci ha trattati benissimo e ci ha dato la possibilità di soggiornare in una camera con upgrade, così abbiamo potuto godere di una terrazza panoramica sui tetti di Catania, da mozzafiato. Abbiamo trovato tutti confort che cercavamo. Ovviamente è centralissima e comoda a tutti i luoghi da visitare.

Gastvrije B&B in bijzonder palazzo

Wat ons het meeste beviel aan de locatie was de centrale ligging in de historische binnenstad. Alle grote bezienswaardigheden liggen op loopafstand. Daarnaast was de kamer erg groot en is gastvrouw Teresa erg behulpzaam.

Chambre confortable

Situé sur une rue piétonnière de Catania, l’hôtel est bien situé pour visiter cette ville. Par contre, j’ai trouvé cela difficile d’accès avec routées ces marches à monter pour y arriver,surtout avec une valise. Ma chambre était confortable quoiqu’un peu vieillot et sombre. La dame très gentille. J’ai trouvé ça un peu cher pour les services reçus comparé à mes autres hôtels en Sicile.

Great B&B with kind hosts

Our host had to walk to help us park our car as Google Maps didn't recognize the street access but our hosts were extremely kind and helpful. The room was great and our hosts helped us park the car. It was not easy exiting the hotel to get out of Catania as Google Maps had us go round in circles. We think this BnB is best accessed on foot or by taxi

La ubicación y que disponen de un pequeño parking para dejar el coche. Al ser apartamento tienes libertad total de horarios. Recomendable y muy cerca del centro.

Fantastisch verblijf!

De kamer had een prachtig hoog beschilderd plafond wat je het gevoel gaf dat je in een paleis overnachtte. De douche was ruim en schoon. Teresa was goed beschikbaar en gaf je ook informatie over de stad wat betreft eten en dingen die je kon doen.

Ask for the room with the roof terrace.

Charming, older style building in a beautiful Baroque part of Catania. The host was very accommodating and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Clean room in a convenient location. Furnishings were eclectic and decorative but not functionally optimal (e.g., no desk, few and inconveniently located electrical outlets). No passenger elevator is available. A/C was not offered during a stay in May. Four (conventional) keys are required to access the room from the street, a considerable inconvenience. Internet service was unacceptably poor. Breakfast at this B&B cost extra and was not tried.

What gem, we loved our roof top terrace and rooms. Each room was beautifully decorated with interesting collectibles. The Linen on the bed was hand embroided. It felt safe & homely. The host was delightful and helped us with suggestions & booking an airport transfer. Close to everything. A wonderful stay.

A cozy room with a beautiful balcony which a good position to see the entire city. The host is so friendly and helpful. The furniture was also comfortable and in a nice style.

I stayed 2 nights at B&B Crociferi. The B&B was in a convenient location with easy access to the old town and Via Etna where the shops are. The room was big and had a lovely view of the street outside. Teresa, the host was very friendly and helpful.

The property was very beautiful. It was clean. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. They seemed extremely concerned about safety, and electricity, everything was unplugged and kitchen not usable. It was noisy but I think that’s to be expected. It was very hard to find, would have been better if there were directions on how to enter property and driving and parking. Teresa was very helpful, kind & responded quickly.

The couple who owned it were really nice and helpful. Helped even with parking, and good parking space on the inner yard. The room was really spacious and the room had true Sicilian vibe with the small balconies. Also a really cute dog at the breakfast.

The property is truly classic for Catania. Teresa and Martin were so welcoming and very helpful. We had a palatial size room with all the conveniences you need. The elevator was great to have as well!

We had the top floor lodging with the roof-top terrace and it was fabulous. This is a 2 bedroom space with a central living area (between the bedrooms) with a couch and TV and wonderful, large terrace (and of course a spacious bathroom). Teresa makes a wonderful breakfast with meats, cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh bread, and a lot more. She'll keep making you coffee until you say "no more." We were able to keep our car in the gated/locked courtyard for our entire 4-night stay. We didn't use the car at all while in Catania (didn't need it) as the one-way streets and traffic are crazy! The B&B is in a great location, only a short distance to the main areas and sites of Catania. Teresa was a wonderful host and assisted us planning our days. I highly recommend this wonderful B&B.

Location was very good, very close to sites of interest, close to cafes ad restaurants but quiet at night. (I appreciated that the church bells across the street from our room stopped chiming the hour after 8PM!!). Breakfast was always delicious, varied and featuring local foods and fresh produce.

Great location in the historical center. Rooms were quiet, spacious with old world charme decor. Teresa was a very friendly and helpful host.

An exceptional, classy establishment.

This is a top-class place to stay. Our bedroom had a lovely, high ceiling and was well-appointed. Excellent breakfasts. The proprietors were most helpful with advice and arranged a very good visit to Mount Etna. Parking was available for a charge. The location was perfect for exploring on foot.

Meeting and sharing breakfast with guests from around Europe was very enjoyable.

Our host Teresa varied breakfast each day and inluded vegetables.

Very uniquely furnished, clean & comfy. Super friendly people, well versed in english, german, too! Organized airport transfer. Our suite had an enormously spacey terrace with a wide view over catania.

A pleasant property on a quiet street but insist on testing the bed before you commit to the room!

We left early to catch our 7 am flight so did not sample the breakfast. The location is good, if hard to find, on a quiet street in the heart of the Centro. The building is old and a but fusty but the room was spacious, clean, and pleasant. It was a bonus having a working lift to haul our baggage to the second floor.

Very nice B&B. Could tell that it's cared with love. Teresa is doing a great job. Apartment was very nice, but the terrace was splendid, with a great view of the city and sea. Only Mount Etna was missing from it. Breakfast was typically italian, enough for us.

This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast. Right in the heart of the historic centre of Catania, Theresa is a splendid host, sociable and keen to help in any way. Our room was stunning with a handpainted ceiling and two sofas, making the room very airy and comfortable. The breakfast is served in the kitchen with a chance to meet other guests, which we enjoyed. A very comfortable stay.

Great location from which to explore the historic centre of Catania. Grand house on a lovely road. Teresa is a friendly and helpful host. Breakfast was good with selection of cheese and meat, eggs, yogurt, bread, jam and freshly made cake.

Easy walking to main city attractions.

The B&B is centrally located within walking distance to Catania’s sights and restaurants. Teresa keeps a beautiful property with great artwork and decor from her travels. Breakfast was a nice moment to meet and converse with other patrons. We had the suite on the uppermost floor. It is a hike to get up the stairs and not recommended for people with mobility issues, but it is so worth the climb. The suite is large and comfortable but the pièce de résistance is the beautiful terrace. It is lush with wonderful plants on terra cotta tiles with a second level patio looking East to the city and Ionian Sea beyond. We were able to get up early and catch amazing sunrises. Our host, Teresa was very helpful with recommendations and advice. We had nice conversations with her during our stay and would love to return one day.
