- • The building is old and deserves a serious renovation because everything is crooked: it feels like going back 40 years. It is also noisy... and yet, I was lucky not to be facing the street with its concert of car horns. But the price is reasonable, so...

Overall acceptable, but in its present state not recommendable for a longer stay.
Old-fashioned, well-located classic Italian 3 star (i.e. average) hotel, one of the many around Porta Nuova station. This one, however, has only been partially refreshed (lamps and some furniture) some time ago but overall now is in need of a more thorough renovation. Rooms are of good size and quieter in the back, as always. Some have small balconies. Gloomy common space. Acceptable, standard breakfast, but coffee only from a machine. Very kind front desk people. A problem with the shower was solved very quickly.

- • The bed was rather uneven, the cupboard very old and creaky, the bathroom oddly shaped and the water warm but certainly not hot. To be expected at these moderate prices. Parking is in the surrounding streets (difficult at times) or in the Porta Nuova underground parking at 300M, very expensive.
