Great location, clean and spacious room. Staff were very friendly and helpful with my package deliveries. They even have a robot to deliver your food takeaways. Very nice hotel. The hotel is also very near Russian street.

- • 숙소가 연식이 있어 새롭고 반짝반짝한 느낌은 아니긴 합니다만, 아늑하고 중후한 매력이 있습니다.

위치 좋고 객실 전망도 바다와 광장이 한 눈에 들어와 좋았고 방도 아주 깨끗하고 넓었어요. 직원들도 아주 친절했어요.

- • 라운지 이용가능한 방이어서 저녁 시간에 올라 갔는데 시설, 전망, 친절도 등은 모두 좋은데 음식 가짓수가 너무 적고 좀 미흡해서 라운지는 다시 이용할 생각이 없네요.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Winnie and Sherry. We had a super pleasant experience during our stay. We felt we are welcome the minute we walked towards the entrance. All male staff were initiated to help, this brought the first good impression to us of how passionate of Dalian people are. One of the room had leaking, my feedback was responded in a very short period of time. The male staff who assisted us to change to another room was patient to wait for us finished packing our luggage and initiated to help carrying our luggages. The lady at the concierge was helpful also on the day of our leaving the hotel, in helping us ordering a transport and explain in details of what transport to get in order to fit in our bulky luggages. In all, it was a pleasant stay. !

A love stay in a grand hotel in an excellent location near a metro.
The location was excellent next to Youhao Square line 1 (200m). A very grand hotel with excellent staff who couldn't help enough! On arrival, I was given a welcome pack and a fridge magnet that was a nice touch. Breakfast was extensive and will cater for all. Room had older furniture but had been updated and was modern. I was on floor 41 and loved the view. I love Dalian is projected outside so you can see it for miles. All the usual stuff was provided in the bathroom and for tea/coffee making facilities.

- • Room had a cigarette smell, but they quickly changed my room and also provided an air purifier even though the room was fine. Room 4112 was an upgrade to a suite at no extra cost. Only a few minor issues and as a result they (Alice and Sherry) kindly gave 50%.
Spectacular view and good location with some outdated rooms and busy breakfast and elevator areas.
My room was upgraded and when I opened the door into the room and saw the view it truly was breath-taking. I had a perfect view looking down on Zhongshan Square and could see the sea in the background. I could sit looking out the window for hours watching the people and traffic go by. The location was good, a short walk to Zhongshan Square where you can watch Ayis dancing and children roller blading in the evenings. Underground stations were also a short walk away. The pool is a good-size.

- • While the room was spectacular on a first impression, on closer inspection, is was quite dated and in need of modernizing. Many of the handles and fittings were worn and while clean, it just looked a bit sad! The worst part for me were the elevators in the morning and the breakfast area. Between 07:30-09:30 the elevators are under high demand and there ends up being long queues waiting to get on which was frustrating. The breakfast room was also not large enough and I had to queue to get in, only to be placed at a table quite far from the food which was haphazardly presented. I used the gym in the morning and there was no air conditioning, which meant I was sweating just by stretching before I started.
Was a disappointing experience staying at Intercontinental in Dalian.

The staff and breakfast were amazing. The hotel is large and spacious. The bed and pillow were better than the other 5* hotel I stayed at in Shanghai. The value was excellent. I heard from other people who had booked hotels near Dalian Square that theirs were overpriced. The best aspect of this hotel was definitely the staff.

- • Some of the outlets didn't charge well. The shower door didn't close well and water leaked easily. The location is a bit far from where most of the popular attractions are.

Central location, spacious rooms. Friendly staffs
This place is right in the heart of DaLian, and we always stay here when we visit. The suites are spacious and comfortable. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. We especially loved MaNa from housekeeping and Eric Sun at the concierge desk. They were amazing! We can’t wait to come back next time. It feels like home away from home for us!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Traveling in China can be challenging for foreigners, especially with restrictions on Google and many other apps. Additionally, obtaining a local SIM card was not possible for me, as Chinese telecom providers require a national ID. I was initially concerned about my Expedia reservation due to these limitations, but the front desk staff—particularly Winnie—was incredibly helpful and professional. Winnie promptly confirmed our reservation, scanned our passports, and assigned us a non-smoking room. She also took the time to thoroughly explain the hotel’s amenities and provide helpful information about local tours and transportation options. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. All staff members we interacted with were friendly and eager to assist with any questions we had. The location is also very convenient—there’s a subway station right across the street, and the train station is just a short walk away (about three blocks). Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Dalian.

Fantastic location close to the historic center.subway station basically in front of the entrance. From our room, great view. Large pool, big enough for swimmers.. Hotel is a few years old, which is visible here and there, but everything worked fine, so we didn't mind.

Best time yet staying with IC Dalian
The rooms were sold out on the IHG app hence I had to book on booking.com. Nevertheless, it had been a pleasant stay/visit. I visit Dalian at least once a year, and every time I have stayed with IC Dalian. This time I felt it deserves some extra brownie points. I had to check in quite late in the night (post 10 pm) this time since I’ve been flying back from Taiwan. When I arrived, there had been a queue at reception and there was no staff available for the One Reward club members. I queried if I could check in as a member, the staff acknowledged that they are shorted staff for the night but immediately informed one of the colleagues to come out from the office to help me. I did not manage to catch their names but I do appreciate the can do attitude and their willingness to help. Breakfast the next day was also a lovely experience, the menu imo is much improved, including the freshly made sea cucumber rice, absolutely delicious. After I checked out, Kari at reception kindly helped me out getting a taxi as I couldn’t find any one at concierge at the time. Kari, bless her, went out of the hotel and hailed a cab on the road without a coat in the cold! Thank you so much, Kari :)

The staff at this hotel was marvelously helpful----always keeping in constant contact prior to our stay. We arrived several hours later than expected, which was no problem. I had arranged for a prepaid Chinese SIM card to be shipped to the hotel which they received and held for me. Very helpful! For English speakers, there were a couple exceptional folks at the front desk to answer questions and make suggestions. The breakfast on the 2nd floor was awesome. Very similar to one of the Marriott breakfast buffets with many made-to-order selections. LOVED the Junior King Suite---so spacious and with so many amenities. Quite a few restaurants close by in walking-distance and taxi rides are cheap.

- • The internet connectivity and speed left a lot to be desired, but then that's to be expected in China from my experience. The IT folks in Dalian apparently are really good at blocking and zapping VPNs, too.

- • Intercontinental is now too expensive for what it offers. Other Hotel's have a greater value now, and the next time, if the rates are at this level, I won't be coming back.
Highly recommend this hotel, really worth it!
I am immensely surprised about the property’s service. The room was very spacious and they even offered a birthday cake because we visited Dalian for my husband’s birthday celebration. After the check out procedure, Mr. Eric Sun kindly assisted us when calling didi service. I would like to thank him personally. We highly recommend this property.

- • There was slightly unpleasant smell in the room when we first stepped into the room(don’t know what this smell is though), quite similar to that of Mara sauce. We only stayed there one night and we got used to that smell soon, so we did not ask for a room change. If the support team can re-check the room that I stayed, it would be much better to improve this part. Other than that, nothing to improve.
Overall, we had a good experience with Intercontinental Hotel at Dalian.
The staff counter service is prompt and fast. The staff cleaner was also very nice. The room is big and clean.

One of the best hotels in Dalian and Shenyang area, excellent price and service.
Spacious rooms, beautiful views, location, price value and overall the excellent service. Guest manager, Grace, spoke a good English and she was very kind to us. We travel frequently around China. We recommend this hotel.

The room was fantastic and the cleaning service was very good. The breakfast and main buffet meals were very good. Swimming pool was very good. The bar was shocking. Staff didn’t understand what people wanted to drink. Very expensive and always empty. The 2 restaurants that were in the hotel were awful. Very expensive. Rubbish food and very rude staff. Would never stay at this hotel again.

에어컨 온도주절이 안되고 옮긴 방 또한 온도조절이 안되어 더웠습니다..방안에 햇빛이 들어오면 온도가 올라가 더웠습니다..5성급호텔치고는 조식도 떨어지고 암튼 좋지 않았습니다.

- • The hygiene was bad! There was bug under my bed ( I did Not see the bug by my eyes)and cause me so badly allergic . Went to the hospital in the end ( hotel offered) As 5 stars hotel, this should not happened at all. Doesn’t natter this was the first time or million times! Just not acceptable! The services not 5 stars as well! The first duty mgr Not even show him In person! Only talked to me by phone ( yes, he did advised that I can go to hospital , but I refused and me and my daughter were very tired) on 2nd nt, my allergic getting worse, so I’ve talked to another duty manager and he has organised one of his colleague with us to the hospital.(thank you) Overall, I am so disappointed for the hotel

- • The temperature of the rooms was 23 degrees Celsius minimum with max air conditioning. I prefer to be cooler than this.

The service was excellent. In particular, I would like to thank the following staff members for making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. 行政酒廊Kairis was so welcoming and made our kids happy. 洲际礼宾部段秋含patiently helped us to find a good replacement room (when our original room became unavailable due to technical issues). We would also like to thank洲际礼宾部刘强 and Laura Ji from the catering team.

The room was spacious and clean . Perfect for a family of four . The staff were attentive and friendly and had a reasonable understanding of English . Views of the city both during the day and evening were spectacular from hotel room . Location of hotel very central Dalian . Good size swimming pool with clean facilities
