Beautiful location of the hotel. 5 stars are only given when the details are right. I would pay attention to that!
Spacious room and a neat bathroom. The bed is large, the fridge is quiet and reasonably stocked. The restaurant is good, the service and staff are excellent. You expect friendly service and staff. This is also there. The garden and surroundings are truly unique. What an impressive environment! The pools are beautiful, just not deep. For Europeans, 1.20 meters might be too shallow.

- • I do not understand why there is no good selection of TV programs. Access to movies, etc. should be a given. For a 5-star accommodation, it is really too poor that there is no subscription to any international movie channel. The coffee and tea facilities are there, but not of good quality either. Why not good brands of tea and coffee? Unfortunately, there is also no extensive menu at the pool. Let alone that beautiful cocktails are made. For a 5-star accommodation and especially from the Marriott chain, you would expect these details to be well taken care of.

Relaxing stay & great breakfast
- hospitable and efficient staff - spacious and spotless rooms with beautiful balcony and comfy bed - quiet area close to the river and few minutes from town - gardens are well laid out and nicely maintained - excellent breakfast buffet and some signature dishes (khao soi is so good), good coffee and fresh juices - very nice pool

- • Elevator at the building where the rooms are located is a bit far, to get from the 3rd floor to the lobby area. So, better using the stairs Building gets a bit outdated and needs some repairs
