The cozy hotel made up for any weather conditions.
Very familiar atmosphere, the rooms were beautifully decorated, the breakfast was very varied. Also positive: Free use of public transport with a guest card, both the connection to Salzburg and to Berchtesgaden, for example, was very uncomplicated.

Very nice hotel in a quiet location. Bus passes by the hotel, ticket was included in the price! Great breakfast👌, very nice staff! Will gladly come back.

Exceptional place, great service, extraordinary atmosphere
I liked many things. Firstly - the location. It takes 20-25 minutes by public bus from Grodig to the center of Salzburg, which is free for tourists, and the bus stop is maybe 50 m away :) Secondly - the hotel. Incredibly peaceful place with mountain views. Very atmospheric. Covered parking. Garden with swings. Thirdly - the service. The owner is very polite and helpful. Immediately upon arrival, he showed us how to get to Salzburg and back. He also recommended interesting places in the area. Fourthly - breakfasts. Very healthy products and a great selection. Delicious bread, amazing natural yogurt. Surprisingly good cakes. Tasty cheeses and cold cuts. And nice service, we were offered scrambled eggs every day. Fifth - cleaning. We stayed for 5 nights and our rooms were cleaned twice, and after cleaning everything was beautifully and professionally arranged. In summary - you can see that this place is created and developed with passion and extraordinary attention to detail. I definitely recommend it!

- • Maybe it's worth considering some discreet air conditioning at some point, but on the other hand, the charm of this place would probably suffer from it

Really enjoyed our stay while visiting the Christmas market on December '25. The host at reception was really kind and helpful, printed passes for us to allow us to take the bus into Salzburg for free and gave us maps, explaining where to get the public transport to get back and the location of all the different attractions Salzburg has to offer. The room was clean and warm, breakfast was superb, tasty and plentiful. Parking available on site and bus stop just a few meters away.

- • We arrived early but found the door locked so we couldn't even drop our bags and use the toilet while waiting for the check-in time.
