Phenomenal Experience
My experience at Casa Andina Standard Puno was simply exceptional. Beyond the facilities, what truly sets this hotel apart is the extraordinary human quality of its employees and collaborators. From our arrival, we always found kindness, willingness to help, and a genuine concern for the well-being of the guests. I want to make a very special mention of José. During our stay, one of my travel companions felt quite unwell due to altitude sickness. José took care of her in an admirable way, making countless trips to the room to check on her, bring what she needed, and make sure she was taken care of. I also want to acknowledge one of his colleagues — a Hindu woman, whose name I unfortunately can't remember — who showed the same concern, patience, and availability. Both managed to arrange for a doctor to assist, who came to the hotel and stayed with our companion until confirming that her oxygen levels had improved. That level of commitment, empathy, and care goes far beyond what is normally expected from a hotel. The food also deserves special recognition: delicious, well-prepared, and very enjoyable after a day of exploring Puno. The rooms are simple and perfectly correspond to the three-star category with which the hotel promotes itself. But if I had to evaluate exclusively the quality of service, it wouldn't be 5/5: it would be 10/5. Casa Andina Standard Puno shows that true hospitality does not depend on the number of stars, but on the people. José and the entire team made us feel cared for, accompanied, and safe at all times. Phenomenal experience and absolutely recommended!

- • Many people get up early for tours and talk in front of other rooms. Perhaps a bit of sound insulation, because they cannot influence the behavior of the guests.

- • The floor in our room was super uneven. And there were no windows to the outside but to an enclosed center of the building. We couldn’t get the WiFi to work.

- • I have been there twice, the second time I stayed in rooms with windows facing the interior, to the common areas, a bit strange.
