Excellent boutique hotel
The staff was exceptionally well trained/educated and went out of their way to welcome us, speaking in English or Japanese as we can't speak Mandarin. The buffet breakfast was excellent, offering local, western and Japanese food. On the New Year's Day, they gave us a card (in matt black) with every staff manually signing their names (in sparkling colour pens). It was a super nice touch.

- • Het ontbijt is sfeerloos en smakeloos. Ook zeer beperkt. Zeker geen 5 sterren waard. Er is geen bar. Meer een B&B

Läget var jättebra med närhet till både mat och sevärdheter. En liten promenad till MRT. Skön stor säng, fantastisk vy över parken, härligt nedsänkt badkar. Även om hotell var lite slitet så var det välstädat med bra bekvämligheter. Saknade värme på rummet men personalen var snabb med att lösa det med en extra radiator. Tyst och lugnt på rummet (ingen störande ventilation eller annat). Utan extra kostnad fick vi möjlighet till late check-out till kl.13. Lugn och skön miljö till frukost. Jättebra frukost med allt från färsk frukt till diverse varma och kalla rätter. Personalen var mycket trevlig och serviceminded.

- • The AC did not truly work and they did not care to fix it. The entire hotel runs off a central temperature range and so it can't cool down below 74F during the 'winter' season. They would only give us fans and would not provide any additional compensation for a 5 star hotel not being able to cool down to 69F. This wasn't an unreasonable ask of cooling down to 55F.... this was asking for the hotel to be below 70F which most international visitors would prefer.

- • Location :need to walk 600-700metre to get to Mrt station. Hotel: quite old. At first night the valve of hot shower was broken so we have to move to another room. Before they let us move, they let plumber to check the shower room with shoes on, so the floor was dirty. We heard some wierd lound noise at around 4-5AM almost everynight that woke up us. Also the Light in the room broken, we couldn't turn it off. So we had to sleep with Light.

Everything you need and a well-run establishment
In the style of more traditional rather than modern, I found the San Want good quality in every way. The breakfast was solid, the room was clean and comfortable, the shower was nice, the bath products were from a popular Taiwanese brand that has lovely scents. The staff were all courteous and professional, and there was free parking. A reliable choice if you're looking for that part of town!

整體窗外景色還不錯，高樓層非常寧靜，使用的客房備品及家電都有一定的水準，非常棒！浴缸有很安全的防滑設計真的很安心舒服😌

Loved the location. Quiet so we could get rested. Water pressure off the shower head was amazing. Soaking tub was amazing. Staff were attentive, welcoming and willing to go the extra step to help. Really made us felt cared for.

- • 저렴한 가격에 호텔을 예약할 수 있다면 추천, 그렇지 않다면 정말 비추합니다. 낡은 숙소와 카펫에서 올라 오는 알 수 없는 냄새, 그다지 친절을 느끼지 못하는 직원들 태도, 매일 변화가 없는 조식, 야간에 위층에서 욕조 물 받는 이유로 들려오는 소음. 고가 옆에 애매한 위치 때문인지 타이베이 시내를 택시나 우버를 타고 다녔음에도 빙글빙글 도는 교통의 불편함. 정말 싼 가격에 방을 구하지 않는다면 비추합니다. 다시는 가지 않을 호텔.

Petit déjeuner complet et varié sans trop de choix mais suffisant. L'hotel est très bien situé près de deux lignes de métro pour se rendre rapidement dans différents points de la ville.

- • L'isolation phonique des chambres. On entend les douches des chambres voisines. Ce qui peut être gênant lorsque le voisin laisse sa douche couler en pleine nuit pendant 3/4 d'heure.

Although public area is very beautiful in the grass where the room is old carpet tends to be smelly view is terrible. Lo
I like the bathtub and the shower place, but the room is a little smelly due to the age of the building, room size of small, and the view running down building is very undesirable, location is in between two subway stations each is about 12 to 15 minutes walking

Always a great experience
We stayed here again and were once more impressed by the consistently professional and kind staff. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and having a Japanese-style bath right in the room made the stay especially relaxing. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back.

ホテルの選択肢には事欠かない台北ですが、今まで宿泊した中で断トツのお気に入りになりました。 立地はバスの使える方なら何も問題はないかと思います。MRTの駅からは少しあるものの、バス停が付近に点在しており、どの方角へ行くにも利便性は高いです。 セブンイレブンにスーパー、POYAなどのドラッグストアも近く、日々のお買い物や旅程最終日の夜にちょっとした買い忘れ品の補充などもし易かったです。 林森北路が近く美味しい飲食店も多く、ホテル周りだけでも様々なローカルグルメが楽しめます。 特筆すべきは水回りの使いやすさ！日本人にとっては非常に使い易い四角いバスタブが旅の疲れを癒してくれます。バスソルトの気遣いが非常にうれしかった！手元で使えるメイクミラーやダイソンのドライヤー、バスルームの椅子（無いホテルがほとんど）など、女性の身支度には嬉しい配慮が多数。 華やかな外資系のおしゃれなバスルームにも良さはあるけど、使い勝手と言う点では疑問符が付いてしまう事も多い中でストレスのないバスルーム、ほれ込んでしまいました。 朝食も和洋台湾と少しづつ揃えられていて、満足感のある内容。個人的に仙草ゼリーがあったのは嬉しかったです。 受け入れの年齢制限があることも加わり、とにかく落ち着いた静かな空間で、リラックスして過ごせることも大きかったです。 スタッフの方も落ち着いた対応で周辺案内なども的確にしていただけ、ホスピタリティの部分でも素敵なホテルだったと思います。

- • 歴史あるホテル故か、室内設備の古さは少し目立つ。 館内設備案内がやや端折られた感。ラウンジでコーヒーなどがいただける事等、帰国してから知った。(室内には案内冊子なども見当たらなかった。滞在中テレビをつけなかった為、もしかしたらテレビで案内が流れる仕様なのかもしれません。) リネン室？が近かったからか、少し物音が気になった。（気になっただけで、眠るのに云々というようなレベルのお話ではありません） 但しこれらは本当に些細な事であり、総合的な利点がこれらを完全に上回ります！

San Want Residences offers an excellent stay with a great breakfast and beautiful surroundings. The Japanese-style ofuro adds a touch of elegance and relaxation. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful—they even assisted in combining our separate reservations seamlessly. Parking is available, though we didn’t use it this time. Overall, a stylish and comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended!

The group of us stayed at San Want Residences Taipei during our trip to Taipei and were thoroughly pleased. The location was good, nestled in a central part of the city, within easy walking distance of cafés, restaurants and MRT stations. The staff were warm, polite and always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spacious and very clean, with comfortable bedding and a great bathroom featuring a deep soaking tub. We particularly appreciated the little touches like the complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge. It became the night gathering place for my pal and I! The breakfast offered both Western and Asian options and, while not absolutely extravagant, it was tasty, satisfying and served in a pleasant setting. If we had one suggestion it would be that the décor and furnishings, probably needs some upgrading and the sofa at the lounge, it feels a little on the classic side (not ultra-modern) so if you’re after ultra-trendy design this might not be the top pick — but for comfort, service and getting out and exploring Taipei, it ticks all the boxes!

Sehr gute Lage. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu drei verschiedenen Bahnlinien. Viele Restaurants, Bars und Streetfood direkt beim Hotel. Hervorragendes Frühstück! Wir waren 7 Nächte im Hotel und die warmen Speisen haben sich nicht ein einziges mal wiederholt. Teilweise wurden sogar während des Frühstücks ein neues Gericht bereitgestellt, wenn ein anderes leer war. Lediglich für Nachtisch-Fans dürfte die Auswahl vermutlich zu klein sein. An der Rezeption wird sehr gutes Englisch gesprochen.
