Holiday Garden Hotel & Resort Chiang Mai

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice. Once in 2015 and now in 2025, and it didn’t change at all! It is such a convenient spot as you can walk out of the hotel and go left or right and have shops/stores/food all at your finger tips.

It is a nice place to stay and has a reasonable accommodations and food, but not the best at that price point. It is safe and in a really good location. They are in need of a remodel and updating. The staff were great and friendly.

This property is a cute hidden gem. Just off the main drag and a short walk to the shopping centre Maya Mall and main streets of Niman to explore. Great food options around you and easy to get to via Grab car or Motorcycle or on foot. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was nice too. Would recommend for couples or families 🙂

Elevator was broken and water not hot enough at first, but after i told the front desk they fixed both quickly. Food options within the hotel are limited, but plenty nearby.

Good breakfast

Before arriving I was a little anxious because of some of the bad reviews BUT I absolutely love this hotel! Yes it is on the older side but it has that Thai vibe and style we all come for. Great location - Nimman. Beautiful garden and pool area. Lush cafe is open from 8am - 5pm daily! Near major shopping malls. Near food markets, night markets, cafes and restaurants in almost every street you turn on. Has several convenient shops near by. The staff are wonderful and housekeeping came by everyday to check if I needed anything or new towels. The hotel and rooms are well maintained. I stayed on the 10th floor and had the most beautiful view of the mountains. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the breakfast buffet and that is because I am not really a breakfast person and the food options were not to my liking but I did have toast coffee/tea and the egg station was pretty decent. But again, there are so many options around. The hotel and the hotel offers room service. You can either order from room or go down to Lush cafe and make an order, sit and eat in the beautiful garden area. You can also order something on Grab. So many good choices! I highly recommend this hotel! Very sad to leave as it was my home for 10 nights. I absolutely loved my room and sitting in the garden in the early mornings and evenings before it got dark. I will definitely come back!

We stayed four nights at the Holiday Garden Hotel & Resort The staff were welcoming and helpful , the room spacious and vey comfortable and very clean The buffet breakfast was excellent with a selection to meet the needs of all guests – my wife particularly liked the omelettes We ate at the … red 199 rustic but good food offering excellent value all be it with an eclectic music mix – turn left from hotel and left again on the main road … taisho – excellent food - excellent value ----turn right out of the hiotel , next right , next left to t junction We walked into the old city about 40 minutes walk – enough temples to occupy a couple of days – turn left out of the hotel the left onto main road and just keep going till you meet the city wall We also took a day thrip to chiang rai – we used chang mai Thailand tour centre – excellent Would select this hotel on any future visits

The location is very close to my condo. The people are friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean.
