Lovely hotel but dodgy lake view not worth the money

- • When booking on the app I was persuaded to upgrade to a lake view which was about an extra £750 over the 3 nights (not a cheap option) Unfortunately the lake view was obstructed quite a bit by an ugly dirty roof and gravel area. The staff could not move us as the hotel was full and they gave us two days of free breakfasts as compensation (nice gesture but not enough). Anyone wanting a lake view should specify room 207 or higher with floor 3 being the safer bet. I’ve shown the view from our balcony looking out front, right and a cropped view left.
